Nikola Jokic limping to the locker room at halftime.
He looks scared. Weird he had no help going into the locker room. Maybe a trainer or two
Dude is around horses enough to know what happens to an athlete with a leg injury, I’d be scared too
They’re gonna put him down!
He’s gonna make such good glue
He’ll be the Glue Of All Times
No the lakers can fix him
probably like klay, kobe, kyrie who wanted to be strong.
but putting that much force can’t be good. at least should’ve let him hop
Knowing jokic he probably waved them off.
Adelman reminded me of Trump when the pharma guy collapsed.
Weird he had no help going into the locker room.
Do we have to do this every time a player limps off on his own? He didn’t want the help
Which is dumb, not tough.
I’m not saying otherwise
Val should have carried some weight on his right shoulder so Jokic doesn’t have to place his left foot for balance.
Limping just doesn’t mean too much overall. You could have the worst pain in your leg and limping, and 5 minutes later be fine.
huffing all the copium i can. i needed this.
Last season Brunson, left a game on a non contact and was barely moving his leg. Turns out he just aggravated a nerve in his knee that made it go limp. Came back in like 2 games. Who knows?
The AD special.
Side note, hope jokic is ok, rarely you ever see him look this injured
AD limps like this nearly every game. I’ve watched almost every nba game of Jokić’s career and never seen him limp like this. I’m dooming as hard as I ever have as a Nuggets fan right now.
It’s like Jokic being injured wasn’t even a thought I had. The guy is tougher than a horse
Username checks out
Or you can have a sprain and a hairline fracture and still be limping, then have to stop walking for a month :)
Anyone who has ever rolled a ankle knows this.
lol please share some of that copium
The Anthony Edwards special
If I kick my toe i limp for the next minute or two
I limp when my leg falls asleep. I’m a warrior and fight through it
This was me after getting kicked by a nakmuay, 15 minutes all good. sabai sabai
I’ve studied a lot of ACL injuries in the past and can say with 85% certainty that this is the case. Non-contact pretty much almost guarantees it
It wasn’t non contact. Acting like you’re an expert, foh
Did you miss the part where there was contact?
Lol bro is saying with certainty when he clearly didn’t even watch the clip saying it was noncontact
Maybe instead of studying acl injuries, you should study the clip ilin this post some more.
I hope he is ok.
I ain’t a doctor but ive seen people walk off with no limp after doing their acl so maybe this isnt it?
The telltale sign was his knee didn’t bend sideways but I walked on a torn ACL for 3 months so it’s not guaranteed
If you don’t play sports you can live permanently without an ACL. Repair is considered medically “elective” .
Yeah my doctor said if I don’t plan on playing high level sports he recommends no surgery+rehab but I elected for surgery
Because you’re a high level athlete, damn it!
Chess grandmaster.
Platinum in League.
I’m 6’6 and very active not getting surgery would 100% give problems down the line
Surgery was in HS
No clue why you got downvoted, getting surgery on a torn acl as a high school athlete is very common
I have two friends who tore their ACLs in their 20s and didn’t have surgery. One just had enough at 42 and got it done, the other in his early 40’s is miserable. The knee gets arthritic fast when it’s that unstable.
I tore my external right knee meniscus at 16. Didn’t have surgery and now that I am 40, every single cartilage part is entirely fucked, to the point my doctor recommended a knee prosthesis.
My advice is to always fix them as soon as it happens if you plan to have an active life.
Is it too late for surgery for your other friend?
Strongly depends on whether there was also cartilage damage. And for anyone that is still somewhat active (let’s say below 60) it is strongly recommended. At least in Germany, but we have universal health care..
Same here. Continued to tear it a few more times in HS before my dad said enough. I just knew we didn’t have the money for surgery.
And the idiot hs physical trainer said it was a knee sprain
A torn ACL is an example of a knee sprain
lol an acl tear is a knee sprain. With that said I get what you mean he was probably being dismissive about the injury
Just walk it off smh you’re fine
just ice it bro haha
Mahomes didn’t have his knee bend and tore it
Yeah you can walk off with no limp after tearing your ACL. it gets rough once the swelling starts but I was even up and running for a bit after a month of recovery.
Iirc, when Klay tore his ACL they were saying he was jumping and doing sprints in the locker room and hallway to show he was good. He clearly wasn’t.
I got up after mine and walked. My knee felt unstable but I could do it. You’ll be walking around fine and then you take a slightly unbalanced step though and your femur and tibia misalign a bit and it’s EXCRUCIATING. Your ACL keeps them from doing that.
Hope it’s nothing serious
Damn bro. This is just so sad to see. Jokic is never hurt
The dude knows his body very well and his smooth game translates well to longevity, sad to see freak accidents like this happen.
Where’s that YouTube doctor

Tldw: the YT doc is generally optimistic that it’s not going to be too bad. The angle of hyperextension wasn’t very far, minimal side to side movement, he was standing still when it happened. His guess was bone bruising which would be a week or two out. He said that a torn ACL is always possible with hyperextension injuries but he felt that was unlikely here.
Sutterer is usually right. Sometimes see his vids randomly pop up and I’ll watch them. Almost always matches the actual diagnosis.
that’s something positive. he doesn’t think it’s severe. says a possibility of bone bruise. says best case scenario is 1-2 weeks
Damn that’s a real limp lol we’ve all been there at some point
Tbh, this is how bad it looks when I stub my big toe
My GOAT
💔💔💔💔💔
Get well my majestic Serbian horse
he skraight, a little hyper-extension
That don’t look good. Poor Jokic.
Ytf nobody helping him walk?
Honestly this video doesn’t tell much. At times you’ll have crazy pain and be limping and within minutes you’re fine
How come no one is helping him? This doesn’t look like the type of injury you should try walking off
He’s so gangsta.
Prayers up to the big fella
This sucks so much to watch. Ugh ugh ugh ugh ugh
Good god thats not good
Looks like a hyperextended knee
It is a hyperextended knee
Like kinda like Trae young’s situation
Hopefully just that hyperextension and no more damage.
He’s fine
Looks brutal. Hope it just looks brutal. The fact he’s walking unsupported seems like maybe it’s not as bad as it looks?
Jokic is actually too good the script has to get up him up out of here before they fuck around and win a ring this year.
Yeah he’s cooked.
[deleted]
or like in animal farm turned to glue
Or send them to the lakers
Faking
Yeah he’s cooked. I know an ACL injury when I see one..
Very positive like all your comment history about Jokic. Thank you.
They literally going to break his back.
Free Jokic. The man has never played with a all-star teammate. Unserious franchise who lucked up into a generational talent and only has 1 championship to show for it smh.
Jokic in Miami has multiple rings Jokic in Boston has multiple rings Jokic in San Antonio has multiple rings
Murray is probably going to be an all star this year
Finally took them long enough.
Murray has been a 20 ppg scorer like his entire career lol he just keeps getting robbed of all stars
Terry Rozier averaged 23ppg in a single season.
Cmon bro come better than just 20ppg.
