Maybe it’s difficult to correct or be conscious of it while playing, but if your opponent is dunking, wouldn’t it be easier blocking the path of the ball rather than trying to swat it out of his hand? Kuz would’ve had more chance of interrupting the dunk if his hand was a bit angled lower? You can definitely swat it if it’s a layup though, Lebron waits for it to be out of the hand.

Dunking is so easy for Lavine and so routine by now that he really doesn’t put full effort into it very often, but he can still get it when he wants to. Like most veterans, he is coasting and preserving energy a lot of the time.

Up to this point in his career he has been nothing more than a pure chucker. It’s still very early in his career but so far he has been a bust considering where he was picked.
