[Highlight] A missed game-winner by Jamal Murray seals a home victory for the Magic over the Nuggets
Anthony Black
All black at the end there!!!
How is the play not drawn up to get Jokic the ball they couldn’t stop him without fouling
Nuggets messing up inbounds play is an age old tradition
Anthony Carter taking the heat for that infamous inbounds play in 2009 is such a travesty lol Karl was a great coach but he deserves 100% of the blame when a championship-calibur team can’t inbound the damn ball with 30 sec left
E: for those who haven’t seen it, this was the catalyst for the Nuggets losing their best ever shot at a title (until the Jokic Era): https://youtu.be/jzz235jG34c
It’s on a multitude of factors but AC did have the ball in his hands lol.
Ngl I couldn’t help but notice Melo doing shit all to get open either lmao
It was just doomed from the start
Probably was, but black got Murray’s wrist (only time refs didn’t call a whistle) causing him to lose the ball and not get it to Jok.
Because he isn’t playing against AD
Cause Murray can’t resist pumping the air out of the ball. Dude has some weird thing where he will force shots without jokic touching the ball throughout the game
Yeah, it’s routine for him to freeze out Jokic in clutch situations. Frustrating to watch and almost lost us the game against Houston (and I think possibly Minnesota?).
Only works vs. Lakers
Did you see Jamal Murray fumble the ball and chase it to half court?
not making a statement on if one team got favored vs the other but the last few minutes of a game shouldnt take that long to finish lol , brutal watch
66 FTA in that game, garbage to watch especially with how inconsistent things were called. Garbage product from the NBA
Ridiculous foul that Bane got at the end there.
Commentator said he stepped on his foot, I didn’t see replay
Yeah. Looks like he did. But it was kinda after he just barreled right into him.
An easy non-call 99% of the time. Mark Lindsay had an agenda tonight though.

Refs are making the NBA unwatchable. That 4th quarter made my eyes bleed with all the whistles.
Fr I have no dog in the fight but that shit was unwatchable. Like 85% of every 4th possession was free throws
We can all agree on that the 4th quarter of games is truly miserable in 3⁄4 of every game with the odd game where it isn’t just foul after foul down the stretch
The Nuggets game against Minnesota the other night the last minute of OT took 17 minutes of real time. It’s disgusting.
idec at this point if the fouls are good/bad calls i just want to finish the final 5 minutes of a game in under an hour lmao , it takes soooo fucking long these days
Amen bro the game flow nowadays is truly unbearable
The only 4th quarters that have good game flow are if it is a blowout.
There’s just too many stoppages.
I intentionally watch games on delay so I can skip through it all, so it doesn’t really affect me that much (just wears out my tv remote mostly).
But how tf is the NBA going to win over new fans or keep fans that aren’t spending energy manuevering around the pacing problems?
I can’t imagine a non die hard person flipping on an NBA game live, and watching it and enjoying the game:non-game ratio of things. It’s rough.
This team is weird to describe
On the one hand the record is great on the surface given the amount of missing starters
On the other hand we’ve been absolutely absurdly unclutch all year even the ones we won like the Wolves game were very close to being total chokejobs
They gonna be fine when AG and Braun come back they will be in way less close games
Honestly I think most of that blame falls on Murray. He just constantly ices any other player out of the offense just to play hero ball and throw up a shitty shot.
Would you have said that if the ball went in on the other countless game winners he has? He’s clutch, but nothing is 100%. He had a good look and took it, thems the breaks
Cant beat the refs. Nuggets had 4 plays in a row called against them that should have been overturned. Before the first successfully challenge, magic got the and-1 against Murray when he made no contact with the shooter. Then after the second successful challenge, Bane was rewarded for flopping to the ground.
Pathetic
Anthony black being better then Paolo this year was NOT on my bingo card
JI averaging 2&3 while getting paid 15 milly was, unfortunately
Call the flop on the previous possession but not the obvious handcheck on Murray here. Whatever shoulda made the shot, gg
TBF they weren’t calling hand checks on either side all game. The reffing was atrocious for the game but that was one thing they were super consistent on.
That’s what annoys me. Not the no call on the hand check, I’m fine with that - in fact I’d prefer that not get called. It’s that they called the one before it for Bane and swallow the whistle for Murray.
Edit: In regard to the comment about Bane getting stepped on, the video linked below doesn’t really seem to back that narrative up
I wasn’t a hand check on bane. The guy stepped on his foot. The Magic broadcast zoomed in and highlighted it.
Perhaps that’s true, I didn’t see that. I’d still argue it’s not worth a whistle. Bane is out of control on the drive
Edit: Found the video - I don’t see him get stepped on. Is there another angle?
He was out of control because a 200-pound guy stepped on his foot. That will do that.
Who stepped on who’s foot?
before that part…..
Agree to disagree, seemed like a normal Bane drive to me, then he got tripped.
I linked a video above. If anything, it looks like Bane steps on Brown, but the angle and frames aren’t great.
Whatever the case is, the existence of the foul doesn’t really change my argument. We know Murray got fouled causing him to lose the ball. Im arguing the whistle shouldn’t have come for either of them in this end game situation.
Looks like Bane stepped on Browns foot after barreling into him.
That’s a no call 99% of the time.
Refs fucked the nuggets hard. Forced them to use 2 challenges with less than a minute left, which they both won, and then fucked em when they had no challenges.
Blowing the 15-17 point lead was all refs? Refs missed those shots and defensive assignments? Refs turned the ball over?
Be a good sport and own a loss
Obviously not… but it’s really frustrating when you save your challenges all game, win 2 challenges at the end of the game, and can’t challenge with under 10 seconds left. I think the Magic are in the same boat with how that 4th quarter was called. Yeah, Nugs played horrible when Jok was out the game, but the refs had there whistle all over that quarter. 26 total fouls in a quarter is just insane. Both teams in the bonus within 2-3 minutes since the start of the quarter.
Me saying refs fucked the nuggets is purely based on them forcing the nuggets to use challenges by bad calls, leaving them without a challenge on the game winning foul. Nuggets totally fucked themselves too.
You guys don’t know losing. You don’t know bad luck, you don’t know injuries the way that this franchise does, you’ve had a good go of it.
Quit whining and just say good game while your team has the best player in the world. My god, be self aware
Lol fuck all the way off. How ignorant can you be of the Nuggets? Saying I’m not self aware and saying that shit to a nuggets fan. Acting like we didn’t exist for 50 years before winning a title lol… you want me to feel sorry for the magic? Fuck off. Saying I can’t criticize horrible reffing because we have Jokic? Fuck off.
Maybe once your franchise hits the 50 year mark without winning a championship I’ll feel bad, but that’s a long time from now.
Did they not hit Mal’s arm there? Refs stole this one.
does anyone ever call him Mal? lmfao
Yes
I’m a bigger fan of Jam but it never picked up
All the time
They will never call a foul in favor for Denver
AB you are a ⭐️ and I fucking love you
I feel like the Nuggets haven’t won at the buzzer in so long. (Excluding the Playoffs)
jokic half court against golden state
If we’re talking about the same one, that’s like way over a year ago. That one year that Jokic had like 4 game winners really ruined my perception of what he can do
holy shit man time flies.
Jamal wtf
And to think he went straight to the tunnel after missing the shot.
if that was the lakers, that would’ve went in
AB locked that mf down lmaooo
pain.
Great game by Mark Lindsay! We need to start showing love to these refs that take over the game and decide outcomes at the end!
Had a chance to foul bait, but I doubt the ref would’ve given him that unlike some others
As a Lakers fan I’m going to write it: he wouldn’t have missed it if he was playing against L.A.

Dog shit shooter shooting like Steph against Denver
Fuck this curse on the Nuggets
title is wide open
Nuggets without 3 starters still, just a friendly reminder.
Magic without 2 starters (our best player this year and our defensive heart), plus 2 of our backup centers, something that would be lovely against Jokic.
Eh, you had Mark Lindsay.
Lmao Chefs kiss was the nuggets bench prematurely celebrating.
Murray is the biggest fraud in the nba lol. Could throw any scoring guard next to Jokic and put up his numbers. Was thoroughly outplayed by Anthony black tonight
Bro that is not true at all
Absolutely is. Put a plethora of scoring guards in Murray place
He’s not top 10, but he’s not a fraud.
Why you hating from outside the club?
Wiz fan don’t even know where the club is located lol. But I do know when an all time greats Robin is cheeks
No he’s not lmao. The man had a flacco run one postseason. Absolutely has been trash the last two postseasons
What
