Sabonis is the exact kind of player that is easy to scheme against in the playoffs.

Extremely left hand dominant, struggles create for himself in the half court and while a better defensive mover and switch guy than you would think still isn’t good on that end and is a dreadful rim protector. In the regular season I can see the argument for him bring a top 10 center but once the playoffs start I think he’s a bottom 10 guy. I’d even take guys like Neemy, Walker Kessler and Clingan in the playoffs over him.

I’m sure if you put him in a lineup with Caruso, Edwards, OG and Jaren Jackson that would still be an elite defense but at that point I rather have a center that can play five out and defend better like a Bam or Myles Turner.
