Caruso is in a weird place because we rely on him a ton, helped us win a title, our de facto vet/leader, and dare I say even has a pedigree as if he’s the Lebron of role players. But on any other team, a guy like this off the bench making what he makes shouldn’t have a leash that’s as long as he has, and shouldn’t also be the reason a contending team lives or dies. Like he’s exempt to these rules just cause he’s Alex Caruso (rightfully so if you’re winning — but once you’re not, it becomes weird that we actually have to call him out for accountability)

Maybe stop lining him up against Wemby? They’ve done it three games in a row to the exact same results.

He definitely was, and he owned it here, but everyone’s ignoring that part. Tbf, Chet is clearly scared of Wemby (i am, too).

He seems like one of the smarter guys on the team. He should feel let down by Chet, Williams, and Caruso.

Because he’s a shooting guard playing PG. He is a first-read QB. He is an extremely skilled iso scorer but he isn’t going to make his teammates better, he might get them somewhat open, but he won’t make them better.

Shut him down at the top of the key, stay on whatever 6’5 3&D players they decide to play, and have your center sit on backcut lanes. Easier said than done, but the Spurs have the perfect team to counter OKCs reliance on SGA and their horde of 6’5 defensive guard X. They might never beat the Spurs. They don’t have the players necessary.

J Dub had 7 points 2:59 into the game. 9 by the under 5 min timeout in the first. He finished with 12.

Chet had 4 points 2:09 into the game. He finished with 10.

They scored combined, 11 of our first 14 points.

After Finally getting to experience a ring for one of my good forsaken favorite teams, I’m weirdly able to appreciate other teams more, and even though the spurs own us, they’re a fun watch.

Dort i can at least understand somewhat. But dort has also won us games when it matters most. Dort is also arguably a dpoy level player. There is a deep bench, and a bunch of picks that would be valuable trade assets before considering either of these two.

As a Laker fan I can never ever hate Caruso. Dort I think would be one of my favorite players if he stopped doing some of the dirtier defensive plays he does, I always respect a defender who plays as hard as him

Most of the stars in the nba are pretty likable. Jokic, Giannis, Shai, Luka, Steph, Lebron all seem like nice guys off the court.

I’m not so sure about that, but I hope at the very least we continue work on our chemistry and teamwork
