Based on what I saw last season with the Spurs, I knew they’d be competitive but not to this level. I figured they’d be legitimately battling within the last 3-4 spots of the playoff seeds and thinking next season they’d be legit…they are way ahead of schedule. Very impressed!

Exactly, I don’t understand how most people would say this. The Spurs have such a great roster overall. Generational young core, deep bench, and veterans in Fox, Barnes, and NBA champ Luke Kornet. I’m glad people are starting to see how good this team really is. GSG!

He was averaging like 34 minutes a game before the calf injury, and similar to that last season. The Spurs are playing really well, and they’re notorious for being by far the most cautious team in the NBA when it comes to bringing guys back from injury.

I don’t take it as worrisome. They’re going to ramp him up slowly because that’s who they are.
