Also , the rookies went crazy for a period while he was on the bench. He got the lead up to 10 and the young guys had it up near 20, so jordi let the bench get a super extended run. Mike didnt play much in the 2nd lol

I know most people don’t watch the Nets but they are playing amazing defense. Jordi is the real deal. I don’t know how he got them to play so hard. The rookies are still raw and sometimes shook but they try. I followed Mike to the Nets and let me tell you this is something I have to get used to lol.

Small sample size, but despite the amount of shit the Nets got for taking Egor at 8 think it’s panned out pretty well, considering his output and how young he is

Also, the defense is still super locked in. Embiid was the largest human being on the court, but the Nets had a size advantage everywhere else and it showed

I was all in on the tank coming into the season but if we are winning games with our rookies+young guys playing extensive minutes I can’t be mad. Last year what was so depressing was that not only were we winning meaningless games in the season but they were largely on the backs of journeymen who obviously had no future here. Now, when we have rookies literally hitting big shots in the 4th quarter against good teams, there is at least something to take from these games, even if it slightly lessens our lottery odds.

Jordi is a top tier coach. I have faith that he will be able to bring out the best in whoever we pick next year, and I have faith that Marks will make the most of the pick wherever the ping pong balls dictate we pick.

MPJ Final stat might look nasty, but the refs would not give him a call in the 2nd half, They even waived off a 4 point play. He had 25 at the half and The Sixers were selling out to stop him.
