I mean I’m not being all dramatic about it but it’s true. The lakers are by far the most popular team in the nba, with Luka being immensely popular internationally along with LeBron.

Brown has played 11 more games and is averaging 5 mpg more than Wemby (27 games, 29.4mpg vs 16 games, 24.4mpg). This alone is a huge difference.

Brown is averaging more points, assists, and steals, with better 3P%. He is only 1.1% lower in eFG% despite Wemby’s massive height advantage.

Wemby is obviously a defensive stud which is hard to track in stats, but Brown is also a very good defensive player, albeit in a different way to Wemby - great perimeter on-man defence vs complete denial around the paint and a blocking star.

I get the hype for Wemby and can see him as a future superstar with a ton of accolades, but to this point in this season, I would comfortably say Brown has been better than Wemby. If Wemby can stay on the court for rest of the season then this could change quickly.

Clippers are .222 against the East and .263 against the West.

Their sole wins come against the 9th seed 15-15 Hawks (Hawks also beat them) and 9-20 Hornets. They haven’t won a single game against an East team with a winning record.

Even if the Clippers were in the East, they would only be fighting for a play-in spot.

They’re not exactly “dominating”, but people severely underestimated what was still on this Celtics team.

Even without Tatum they still have a bonafide #1 option, a fringe All-Star, a 6MOY, an excellent coach who won’t tolerate anybody not playing good defense, a pile of good shooters and high energy guys, and a bunch of young developing talent…

That’s a team construction that is still going to win you more games than not.

Cleveland was due for a huge regression, and I’m not really sure why people keep expecting the Magic to break out - it’s a 45 win roster if Paolo never learns to shoot.
