[Highlight] Will Richard gets the putback buzzer beating floater with 4 tenths of a second remaining
No clue why Richard hasn’t been playing more. There’s no way the Warriors lose their last two with him in the lineup.
Because old farts played excellent BB 10 years ago and deserve to play even though they should have retired 4 years ago. The younger players have to wait and be content with 5 mins of perfect game or wait again for next turn after 5 games.
This is such a ridiculously weird comment that can’t possibly apply to a single player on the roster. Other than Al Horford, everyone who plays more minutes than him is either a much better player or the same age or younger. And sure, Horford and Hield haven’t been playing well this year, but Hield has averaged 270 3s per season over the last 7 years and Horford was an instrumental piece for Boston much more recently than “should have retired 4 years ago” (and Will Richard isn’t going to get his backup center minutes anyway). Kerr definitely relies too much on the older players and hasn’t done a great job with the young players over the years, but this is still such a weird comment that just goes way too far.
Show me how he consistently plays better then the old farts and earned his keep? Or is this one highlight enough to warrant it
Check his stats and percentages and then watch the games he’s played. He’s unironically the third best player on the team
He scored 30 points on his first NBA start. He’s outperforming most lottery picks in the stacked 2025 draft class. And the depth chart on the warriors is so bad right now that the players ahead of him are double digit negative plus minus while he has the best plus minus per minutes played on the roster.
To put it in laymans, warriors lost three games that they 100% would have won if Will Richard was playing instead of Buddy.
Because he’s not consistent enough to play more. For every good game he has he also has a bad game. Against the Cavs he played 21 minutes and put up 4/3/0 on 25.0% FG%. Against the Pelicans he played 20 minutes and put up 3/2/0 on 25.0 FG%.
Careful
You’re making sense
Cause Buddy Hield has been super consistent (I believe this is his first DNP)
Smooth brain Kerr
Convinced that he’s not being played, so that when the trade discussions happen for Kuminga, no one is demanding they throw in Will Richard
Apparently it’s because Kerr feels like he owes it to the vets to me I say
Fuck all that, the future is now.
Will Richard is nice.
Warriors 2nd best player
Legit might be the actual third best by the end of the year
Don’t forget about Post
you see him walk by stephs hand and stephs reaction? lmao
Love this kid
Dillon Brooks caused the foul for this play which is why he started tweaking
No i think it was bc oneale (#00) didnt box out
He’s talking about the reason why Melton was shooting a ft to begin with. Brooks fouled him while Melton was shooting a 3 when hes like 17% for the season.
I have no idea how you arrived at that conclusion
I really like this kid
Elite boxout by O’Neale
Love to see the effort
För once I agree with Dillon Brooks. Why TF don’t people box out anymore?
Dawg
Willy Dick
I’m I the only one who find the commentator hilarious here
“He guns it home” like he just volleyed it in lol. Still extremely impressive but he guns it home seems like a 3 or a tough middy call lol
i thought fitz said guided it home? but i’ll have to relisten
That would make more sense if he said that. Not what I heard on the first listen tho you could be right
GTFO. 2nd time a video can’t be played
