Oh they’re not all perfect (Kay and Butch Goring are standouts in a bad way), but NY has some of the best in the business in every major sport with local broadcasters. Breen and Clyde with the Knicks are the class of the NBA with Ian Eagle and the Nets crew hot on their heels, and Keith Hernandez/Ron Darling/Gary Cohen for the Mets are arguably the best broadcast team in baseball. The weakest argument is hockey, where Kenny Albert and Dave Maloney are still good, but they don’t hold a candle to the Rangers legends that retired last year in Sam Rosen and Joe Micheletti
