[Highlight] Jock Landale made four three-pointers for the first time in his career, including this clutch one
He’s the Cam Spencer of Joe Ingles
I hate that this made sense to me
how do you expect the 4x DPOY to guard an elite player like Jock Landale!!!!
anybody would get roasted by Jock
Australia >>>> Fr***e
Facts
jock landale is the most bullshit playing higher than his contract player ever. i never know what to think of him but when he has his moments it’s beautiful
I was impressed with his offense when he was with us but his defense and size weren’t great.
I also was impressed with him when he was with us. I miss Big Cock Jock.
His defense isn’t terrible unless he’s in the game too long. He comes out with great energy but if you leave him in for long stretches there will be defensive breakdowns. He’s a great 3rd string center we’ve had to play starter minutes way too often
The Grizzlies were running the offense for him (through him??) in clutch time. Completely ridiculous collapse of the Wolves.
BIG COCK JOCK
Wolves PG situation is dire. No offensive flow whatsoever when Ant is out
Grizzies are also down to their 5th string PG (Ja, Pippen, Jerome, Small all injured). Vince and Spencer have been playing out of position filling in, and even Spencer was out this game
I just keep coming back to that Rob Dillingham draft night trade and how much the Spurs made out like bandits. A pick swap in 2030 + an Unprotected 1st in 2031, just keeps looking good for them.
That’s actually a pretty awful trade. The pick is only top1 protected and anything can happen in the next 4 years
Hyland didn’t seem bad.
Hyland was absolute dogshit lmao he constantly took 3s that would make Curry blush and got benched for it
In his defence almost all of them were desperation 3s when everyone else didn’t want to shoot.
he was active and at least tried to lead the offense.
+10 in 34 minutes. You can tell me +/- in a single game is meaningless, but that number also means the Wolves were -16 in the 14 minutes where Hyland was not on the floor.
Bones was definitely not the problem. He was a little chuck-y but the alternative is Dillingham blowing layups with his like 20% rim finishing.
Bones might be better than Rob but trust me as a Nuggets fan I am saying this with 100% certainty that he is not good enough to even be a backup PG for a top team
He’s been pretty good for us recently. He pretty much carried our last game. I don’t think he’s a long-term solution as a starter but I don’t hate his fit for a bench PG right now.
Eh, if he really matured like he apparently did I don’t see why he wouldn’t be good enough to be a backup PG. He’s absolutely talented enough on offense and has very good tools to be at least an okay defender, he just thought he was way better than he really was and couldn’t use those tools at all (massive wingspan) on defense because of both that and being young guard who knew little.
They need to go get harden if possible. Dillingham, reid, Conley, and whatever picks it takes for harden. Idk if it’s possible because the new cba basically killed mock trades but I actually think harden is perfect for them. Ant can be the clutch guy harden can mainly be a facilitator in big games which is really all they need.
Minnesota doesn’t have any tradeable picks so I’m not sure why I keep seeing them in discussions for star point guards. You’re not getting a top PG with salary filler
They kept leaving him open
Lu Dort 3s punished teams all last year because of that lol
At some point you gotta cover it. Our version is Josh hart who is making them now tho
Dare I say it… are the Grizzlies fun to watch??? Like, they’ve got something going forward, just need to keep developing their young guys.
Those jerseys are dope
How is Jock Landale the name of a modern basketball player and not a 1980s wrestling jobber?
What a crazy weapon to have lol.
Imagine if Kornet can nail a corner three consistently
Jovk legacy game wasn’t on my bingo card
I saw a couple of wide wide open ones…
The fantasy league drop effect happens again
Cocks out for Jock 💪
