Feels like, if anything, this was a pretty good test case for evaluating the robot. If he can do all these cool kicks and flips but shuts down after being pushed (or if he tripped on his own) onto some concrete then there’s probably some good data to use to improve his durability.
This is more likely that pushing the robot like that causes some wire harness or motor to outright break and just disables the robot. Very unlikely there’s any redundancy built into the electronics.

i wouldn’t worry about these. the hypothetical robots that might take over and kill us have no need to perfect hand to hand combat skills, or even to take the shape of a human in the first place. they’d probably just use flying drones armed with toxic gases, highly contagious viruses, guns, or explosives. in fact, these kinds of drones are something we are fully capable of creating right now, or even creating factories that fully automate the production of such drones without the need for human intervention. hope this gives you some peace of mind!
