[Kevin Durant] “Bron locked in every all star game. He not out there shooting from half court. I’m blaming Steph. It’s Steph fault. He come out there and shoot half court bro. I’m blaming him for the All Star game. I’m blaming Dame too”
Just focus on the length of KD’s legs. They don’t even look real.
No torso whatsoever, all legs

sabrina carpenter?
I’ll up you one.
I was hoping, and you did it, worth the risk clicking that link.
Always has been
Legs all the way up. lol
Reminds me of the pic of him on the water slide 🤣
It’s just fisheye lens don’t be down on yourself king. You have perfectly normal legs
Looks like The Beatles in Yellow Submarine
who’s the third guy? he looks like a child from this angle lmao
Some guy called “Quez” according to his Instagram. I guess he’s like a “moderator” or something (Idk shit about podcasts fr)
The Rockets shared a clip from the podcast and when I clicked through to see more about the podcast his Instagram is in the bio with FVV’s
Lol all these player podcasts have some random dude that’s like the player’s childhood best friend or something, who never adds anything to the conversation
Jeff Teague’s podcast might be the only one I’ve seen clips of where all the dudes seem charismatic in some way lol.
Yeah BHen is funny as hell lol, and the middle guy is cool too, he can always get them back on track
Went to school with that guy. He’s FVV’s close friend from back in Rockford. Idk what he’s doing on this podcast, but he helps run FVV’s charity stuff and seems to be generally part of his inner circle.
Bro could kick his feet up and fondle the moon

Thank goodness someone else posted this. Immediately what I thought of.
I used to think he was skinny as fuck until I was fortunate enough to meet him. His legs are tree trunks.
It was justified when they were trying to call him Durantula
Bro looks like he’s AI enhanced
Fred and other buddy are looking like they’re about to take a nap. KD would look the same but his legs are so freakishly long that it doesn’t hit the same.
https://imgur.com/a/YrZLagb
Lol looks like a spider
Durantula was still one of his greatest nicknames just below Slim Reaper
Those are some comfortable gentlemen right there
Knees are coming through my monitor. What was crazy was last night they had Harrison Barnes in the foreground, and Wemby in the distant background, and Wemby looked fuckin 40ft taller than Barnes still.
We need elongated Mike Wazowski as KD on the Disney+ stream.
Big time kids on each other’s shoulders in a trench coat energy.
jokic and luka could also be included in not giving a shit.
Ant shot the ball with his off hand one year.
And then never checked himself into the game the following year
It feels like lately guys would rather have the extra days off than do media for an entire weekend and play in a meaningless game.
Julius Randle has a YouTube blog up and last year he rented out a ranch in Montana for the weekend with his wife and kids and they went snow shoeing, sledding, played some games by the fire, and rode some horses.
All star selection honestly seems like a punishment if that’s the alternative.
Overachiever being punished with extra work has been a problem with every job I’ve ever had.
You wanna be Julius Randle.
The slept on high performer who gets paid but never has expectations forced on him.
No expectations? Randle definitely got his fair share of hate when he was in NY
Never? He was THE guy in NY for years
It’s all relative. Randle LOVED his times at all star weekend when he was with the Knicks.
Woody Harrelson crying into money gif
I think Rudy one year was the odd man out between KAT and Ant and didn’t get selected to the All Star game. And I remember seeing pictures of Rudy chilling on a beach while Ant/KAT had to rush over immediently after a regular season game to AS weekend and deal with media the whole time.
he’s such a good fucking dude, I miss Randle every day bro
Because the players make so much money at this point that they don’t care about the league, the fans, or anyone else involved in the process that allows them to sign 1⁄4 of a billion dollar contracts.
He mentioned all those guys as well who don’t take the game seriously
These comments just confirm that like 5% of commenters ever watch the posted video
Is this just repeating the video in here lol
It’s not repeating if you don’t watch the video. It’s just dumb.
I like this comment thread just stating things already said in the video like it’s new info
Oh and Steph shoots from half court
I feel like Dame might have been shooting from half too, what you think?
Yeah Fred was going to include Luka in the young guys and then goes “actually nah Luka and Jokic fuck that up”
Jokic is also gonna be 31 this season and play in his 8th All Star Game - he’s not really young anymore.
Yeah I don’t necessarily think he was going to include Jokic in the young group, but just grouped Luka and Jokic together as the two superstar white euro’s when he was going to mention Luka.
Harden too.
Agreed. I don’t blame them for not caring about an exhibition game but At the end of the day the best players need to show that they care and it will trickle down to the rest. No one wants to be that guy going 110% if the best guys couldn’t give two shits.
KAT went pretty hard a couple years ago and everyone was clowning him as a ball hog tryhard. Meanwhile nobody else on the court gave even half a shit
Hmm I don’t know Iv never understood that why doesn’t one of them just go hard to win the Mvp trophy
Heck why is ther even an MVP trophy if the players won’t play properly
In the past they played hard. But the current players don’t give a shit.
They trick casual fans into paying an insane amount of money for an ASG ticket, who think they’ll see Lebron, Steph, and the greatest players in the world battling it out on the hardwood. What they actually get is 3-4 hours of players bricking halfcourt shots, missing 360 dunk attempts, and defenders casually walking out of the way of the offensive players
don’t forget we get a MrBeast halftime show too
“could” ?
They’re the biggest offenders
They were called out in the video too
They absolutely would opt out if they were allowed to.
Offense doesn’t ruin the all-star game, lack of defense does. If the defense tries to stop the offense then the offense will try to overcome it and score. If the defense doesn’t exist then the offense is going to do shit like shoot from half court because how else are you supposed to express skill in a 5v0 that lasts 3 hours.
Yeah but imagine getting injured in the all star game lol
Lol I don’t disagree but if they want a competitive all-star game that’s a risk they have to be willing to take. And if they’re not willing to take that risk then there is no conversation to be had about ways to fix it. I personally am not opposed to getting rid of the game and break both and use that time to give each team a couple fewer back to backs in their schedule instead of using the time all at once.
This guy is talking mad facts. And needs to be protected from Adam Silver.
Honestly, the pro bowl model of having all star game in between conference finals and NBA finals may make a lot of sense. That way minor injury risks would only affect the off season.
i can’t imagine any players who are about to be in the finals even pretending to play a bonus basketball game when they could be resting. i’m surprised football players do that
Players from the two teams about to be in the Super Bowl don’t play the Pro Bowl
word that makes more sense. thanks for clarifying
You wouldn’t have seen LeBron in an all star game for basically a whole decade then.
i’ve heard as many teams complain about lack of practice time as number of back to backs in recent years. reducing the number of back to backs already has spaced games much more evenly and made it very hard to find good stretches for practices. teams might rather have a week off and keep the current number of back to backs than spread the schedule out further.
if the players don’t want the game though, i’m with you. don’t make dudes pretend to play a game they’re not into when they’d rather rest. i’m surprised guys like jokic who clearly don’t want to be there even play. the league cannot meaningfully punish them for sitting out.
it may just be a spectacle that has outlived its moment. teams optimize for the playoffs more than ever these days, and it’s going to be very difficult to convince their best players to put any amount of effort toward a game that has no impact on the success of their season.
I don’t recall a single injury in an All-Star game, and back then it wasn’t a playoff game, but they played with a reasonable intensity that respected the fans, and that’s all they ask of these guys.
2012 All-Star Wade broke Kobe’s nose
If that’s the exception, then the point stands. It’s Kobe, I bet he was all up in it.
Kobe was all about it too, wasn’t mad at all and liked Wade’s intensity
That’s where the meme of Wade saying “I love it” comes from
Avoiding injury is just another excuse that is made for the players just not giving a shit.
I avoided injury by not mowing the lawn today
Not an injury during the game, but 2020 NBA game after Kobe died was the last really intense All Star Game and Kemba Walker was out for 6 games after playing 32 minutes. He already had the knee issues but the ASG seemed to aggravate it and he never really recovered fully afterwards.
Agree with your sentiment though, of course players would rather not get selected and spend the break with their family but once selected they might as well take it seriously.
So if it wasn’t the All-Star game that did Kemba in it would have just been the next game he tried to play 30 minutes
There’s probably a better chance of injury fucking around
Yeah someone could’ve stepped on Stephs nuts while he was laying down 😳
So, when you go to vote for the all-stars, the NBA literally lists the players by ppg. Defensive non-scorers are way down the list, you have to search for them. And then the league has the audacity to complain that the game is all shooting and no defense. Well, if all you send to the all-star game is scorers and no defenders, wtf do you expect to see?
It’s not like we’re sending complete non factors on defense. All Stars like Embiid, AD, LeBron, Kawhii, and Ant are some of the league’s best defenders. DPOY level guys like Golbert, Draymond, and Ben Wallace back in the day get voted in too. It’s not about who gets sent, it’s the mentality of the players in the game.
Spot on with Dame. In his 9 all star appearances he’s averaged 13.8 FGA, 11.6 of which are from 3, he almost exclusively just throws up deep 3s
When he won the All-Star MVP he took 23 of his 26 shots from 3p range, guarded by nobody, just taking practice gym shots. I remember those exact stats because I’ve never been more pissed off in my life as an NBA fan, after watching the All-Star game for the first time in a couple of years. They’ll never trick me into getting up at 0300 and watching that shite again. The best part about the whole game was the disgust on Silver’s face when he said “Congratulations. You scored the most points.”
Yea so much worse than guys backing away for dudes to dunk. Who gives a shit how the points are scored when there’s no def or competition. I can’t stand to watch any of it.
They could at least make it funny, Steph lying on the floor to avoid Giannis on the fast break that one time was the least amount of defence that could possibly be played but the novelty made it a highlight anyway. Guys just backing out of the way to avoid contact is both boring and pointless.
Hard to make the elite hyper rich players give a fuck in an exhibition game like idk I just think the jig is up
there’s just too much money on the line nowadays, people need to get that through their skulls
like it’s always been pretty bad, but with all the rules for max contracts and stuff, there’s no way they’re risking an injury in February
i feel like they should hold it as the last pre-season game or something. that’s when guys need to play into game shape and it would be more meaningful than a pre-season game. it’s also early enough that you can work back from minor injuries. i guess it takes away from some of the hype but it’s so dead now anyways.
Obama of all people makes a good point about this. These players know how to play pick up and not go 100% to avoid injury. Literally just a pick up game level of effort would be more than enough to keep the game entertaining.
https://youtu.be/U95GyIAI59o
damn 43% on over 11 threes a game is hella impressive though especially with his difficulty.
They’re essentially practice gym shots, not like anyone is playing defense, still impressive though, curry’s at 39% on a little over 13 attempts a game
Dame hit a shot literally from behind half court.
The issue isn’t Dame and Steph shooting open threes. It’s that the threes are open. Yeah Dame and Steph had half court shooting contests, but they also were the two best deep three point shooters of all time at the time. If you don’t want them to take open threes, stand in front of them and make them contested.
No one is guarding it at all though and there’s no real pressure to make his shots. Most NBA players let alone Damian Lillard and other all stars could make those shots in an open gym which those essentially are
idk i feel most stars aren’t shooting 40% on logo threes even without defensive coverage. Dame is kinda on another level when it comes to efficiency on those type of shots.
Dame hit multiple from half court and even hit one from a foot or two behind the half court line. Saying other all stars can hit them is insane, if they could they would.
Yup thank you. i 2023 i feel he hit one or 2 actual half court shots. very few people are doing that as causally as him
It’s crazy how short people’s memory is. Not just in regards to Dame, but in general. A couple mid seasons in Milwaukee and people forget how big of a problem Dame was when he played for us. Austin Rivers was literally thanking god when he missed a shot in the playoffs.
You see it happen all the time where a player declines a little and people suddenly think their current form is the best they ever were.
It’s not that impressive when no one’s playing defense.
Yea, Curry laying down on defense during a fast break turned the game into Monday Night Raw.
I wouldn’t even say that wrestlers have to actually work to fake it lol
He could’ve played the hardest defense of his life in that scenario and it would have changed nothing
This was the low point for me. Literally laying down on the floor.
Ngl if Giannis is running at me full speed, and im alone on the break. Im doing the same shit
It was at least funny though, would have been way worse if he’d just casually moved out of the way like guys usually do. And god knows a Giannis v Steph fast break is ending in a dunk 100% of the time regardless of how much defence gets played.
Are these AI comments? All Star has always been about entertainment, not competition.
yeah Steph laying down was objectively hilarious, I’m laughing at this guy getting mad at his TV during that moment lol. “WHERE’S THE DEFENSE” lmaoooo
Like showing up to a globetrotters game in a generals jersey and getting genuinely angry at the ref
Steph Currmelo Anthony
Why that play? Steph was never gonna stop Giannis 1v1 on a fast break. All he could do is foul or throw his body in the way and get hurt trying to get a charge or something dumb.
In a real NBA game, you’d also want Steph to get out of the way in that situation as well. I’d figure the greatest shooter would make up the difference of 2 points on the other end.
The all-star game was a joke long before that play.
ASG has been like this for a pretty long time now. It’s not just Steph
Are people genuinely mad over that? What was he even supposed to do lmao
Lebron is most definitely not locked in every all star game. What kind of revisionist history bullshit is this.
Lebron also been to two decades of that shit. I don’t blame him for getting a bit relaxed here and there lmao.
You can’t look at the last 3 years. He probably was before he won All Star MVP for the last time.
2017 was the worst all star game I have ever seen. Lebron - nor anyone else - was definitely not “locked in”.
[removed]
The title literally says “Bron locked in every all-star game.” Not “Bron locked in every all-star game before 2017.
Yeah, that hasn’t been true for a while.
I feel the 2020 game, the first one they altered the format after Kobe’s death, was the last time LeBron played the All-Star game like he gave a shit.
LeBron played this all-star game hard as shit for like 17-18 years. He shouldn’t be in this list.
Bull shit. The all star game went down hill EARLY 2010’s. This was Lebrons prime and was in the league for like 8-9 years when I noticed no one gave a shit anymore. Basically, when Kobe went down with the achilles tear, no one gave a shit anymore. The Big 3 Miami shit was the beginning of the extra buddy buddy friendly hold hand friendships across the league bs. Lets be real here.
He’s just high and riffing, not really that serious lol
Hell the only game I can remember him being locked in was the first target score game which was the only good game in quite a long time. My long-term memory pretty much ends at 2020 though lol.
This the kd from twitter speaking
Yeah, he’s just high asf😂
Stoned to the bone
that first camera angle is hilarious
I’d rather have Steph chucking outrageous shots than just watch layup lines all game, at least that’s entertaining.
Am I the only one who remembers Shaq dribbling the ball up the court and shooting three’s? Let’s not pretend that this started with this generation of NBA players.
I still want to see a legends 3 point shooting contest. It would be a huge highlight for me. Get Bird, Dell Curry, Kerr, and even put Shaq and Chuck in. It would be tons of fun.
Bird literally has no back, I would be surprised if he can shoot that many shots in a row haha
Shaq shooting 3s is funny because he’s shit at them, youre not gonna see him do that normally
Give me a Curry drive & dunk or Dame layup
All star game is stupid anyway, it’s impossible to make it competitive and make players try because it’s pointless, you gain nothing from it and just risky injury if you try hard
Exhibition games are stupid in basically every sport
It seems like after Wade broke Kobe’s nose in 2012, the games have become way more lax since. They were always high scoring games(even in the deadball 90’s-early 00’s they were scoring 130+) but things really got sloppy after Kobe retired.
Even during Kobe Prime all star game were pretty much like this.
The main difference now is the volume of long-range shooting, like KD says, guys pulling up from half court, which naturally inflates the score. Back then, players were throwing lobs from the FT line and openly fooling around.
We should stop rewriting history as if those games were highly competitive. They weren’t. Anyone who actually watched knows that. The score is still 150 130 yall, no one plays defense back then too.
I’m not rewriting history. Half of my comment you replied to is about them still being super high scoring games. But it wasn’t the full game like they have been recently(not including last year as I didn’t watch it, and it was a different format). Yes, guys were throwing full court lobs, off the back board dunks, Shaq crossing guys up and shooting 3’s, etc. But, the second halfs generally had some competitive fire to them, which has largely left the games since Kobe has retired.
Another reason why those Kobe years were lopsided scores is the west has been way stronger then the east since the 2000’s. So even if the east was trying, the west team was basically the entire All-NBA teams vs a handful of All-NBA players in the east.
KG, Kobe, Sheed, AI… Miss those types of players in the NBA these days. It’s funny that Ant is seen as the next hyper competitive trash talker - while being more similar to McGrady/Vince in terms of actual intensity and pride in their play.
I mean just a simple google search shows this is not true. Why lie?
01, 03, 04, 05, 06, 08, 10, 11, 12, 13 were all close and competitive games (kobe blocked lebron twice in 2013). Then kobe got hurt but even 14 and 15 were close.
The Knicks and Spurs played a pretty fun exhibition game last night. Unfortunately the answer is always just throw money at these guys.
All star game has a cash prize
Still, I’m pretty sure the players are boycotting the game because they want to be compensated fairly (in their minds). I’ve heard players complain that they don’t get free tickets for their families or that they could be making more money shooting a commercial or doing some ad that weekend. They don’t like the all star set up, the shitty gameplay is a protest.
And owners obviously remember the old days when they probably didn’t pay stars jack shit for the all star game and are resentful at being forced to shell out cash when they didn’t have to before.
So now we have an eternal stand still and a perpetually shit all star game.
That was not an exhibition game, that was an actual NBA game when you give a competitive game that already is competitive a cup title and money no shit teams will try harder
doesn’t count for the record so technically it’s an exhibition game
Nope, it’s an actual competition game, it’s a cup game like many other sports have that doesn’t count for “regular season”, doesn’t matter that it doesn’t court for the record it counts for the cup
It literally by definition is an exhibition game, it doesn’t matter for standings or playoffs
They use to make sense when you couldn’t watch the best players outside your market in the 70s/80s/90s. But nowadays it makes no sense and there’s no fixing it.
Just give the players a week off and call it a week
Pretty much everyone loves Steph regardless which team you root for. I think it’s hilariously if we collectively put this all on Steph loll
Yeah, cuz KD out there putting in the effort
KD high af lmaooo
Steph is one of the only ones trying and putting on a show…
Problem is none of these guys are defenders, rebounders, hustle players… Bball is a team game and there are many aspects of the game that need to be accounted for…
they are all offensive talents, and the offensive skill is just to slanted
If they all tried on defense and hustled there would be highlight after highlight of them all getting cooked
Let’s vote Alex Caruso in haha
Would be hilarious if its another pistons situation with the thunder. Down like 30 in the all star game and they have like 4 of their players come off the bench and erase the point deficit due to defense
I think the top teams in the NBA would beat the respective all star teams, most teams only need a few guys to average 20+ if that, but they need 12 others who can rebound, defend, cut, pass…
Like team USA is built all wrong imo, and as we enter into a world with more parity internationally, i think it will force some “unconventional” teams
I see Curry slander, I upvote.
fry
Steph has fun in any game though, he clowns all the time, takes crazy shots nobody else does, emotes after on a random tuesday
That is an awkwardly deep couch
Steph laying down during a fast break that one year had Michael Jordan rolling over in his grave in that moment
Michael Jordan is very much alive.
Why isnt he playing in the all star game then?
Checkmate.
Gottem
Is Steph trying to make light of that situation really more egregious than players just side-stepping out of the way every possession to give them a free layup?
that was funny tho
I love KD lmao would love to kick it with him and just talk life
The difference is people actually want to see Steph and Dame shoot outrageous 3s in an all star exhibition game. That’s their game. They want to see star players exhibit the skills that make them stars. Jokic and Luka passing, Giannis and Ant dunking, Shai and Austin Reaves flopping, Draymond kicking and punching. They don’t want to see Steph trying to dunk in an open lane
I actually disagree here. Lebron wasn’t directly responsible but he was very casual about everything. All star USA basketball. I can’t remember the exact quotes but I 100% remembering hearing his comments all throughout the year and thinking his attitude is definitely eroding competitive instincts
Not participating in the Dunk contest even though fans were begging for it from 03-12
Nobody cares about the all star game and the league has made it worse and worse anyway. Adding in a circus of Kevin Hart, Mr. Beast, target scores, and random freshman/sophmore games hasn’t helped. Just fucking name the all stars and call it a day.
Exactly! Just like the Pro Bowl.
The NBA world swept KD hating on Steph on a Twitter alt account under the rug, but I will literally never forget that shit. This guy has an inferiority complex.
He’s not saying it in a malicious way. This sub should really do something about OPs who intentionally post out-of-context quotes for ragebait/engagementbait.
Almost every single quote from a presser, interview, or podcast on here is misconstrued to make a better headline… so lame
Actually he’s just inferior. He’s got he talent of a top 15 all time player but the resume for 15 to 30
Do you guys have any objectivity at all or do you just count MVPs and rings and call it a day? KD had multiple all-time seasons but peaked right when LeBron did unfortunately for him. He was 2nd place in MVP behind prime LeBron 3 different seasons. Be glad your favorite player didn’t peak when LeBron did ig.
Hasn’t the game been broken way before Steph and dame tho?
You MFers don’t play defense. That’s the problem.
Looks like KD got signed by Klutch
why do they look like they’re having a slumber party?
modern fashion is trending toward PJs lol. as someone with some very comfy sweatpants, i don’t hate it 🤷♂️
Do you blame Steph for your rings also?
Get a girl you bum.
Lmao overly angry comment for what
Steph kinda gets a pass from me, but honestly he’s 100% right about Dame
i feel like i heard bron shout from the bench one all star game “aye he going too hard he need to slow down” or something.
Suck it harder kd.
It’s not like it’s exclusive to this generation… T-Mac was throwing self oops off the backboard 20 years ago, to be fair he also did so in a real game but you can see how little they try and stop it in the All-Star game.
Bullshit. I remember the first All Star rookie game LeBron played. Final minutes were a full fledged slam dunk and bs competition with players from different teams litterally agreeing for it. I saw it and I was like:“WTF?”. Little I knew it would have become the rule in the next years.
It was bad before Curry
Klown Durant
bron not locked in on defense. no one is. and that’s the problem. no one is shooting from half court if y’all picking guys up full court.
Who’s the baby in the middle
Two ways to make the all-star game competitive:
You can see the moment KD realized who he was gonna pin it on lol
Am I fucking tripping or was there no one sitting in the middle of the couch til the last 10 seconds of the clip🤣
No matter what NBA all star game will never be as bad as the NFL Pro bowl game
