Everyone has a bad streak. Unfortunately his came at an inconvenient time. Overall he’s still a solid role player who can hit the three and find ways to cut into the paint. His 3pt% is the same as Steph Curry this season so I’m not gonna worry too much yet

I was wondering during the game last night if maybe the darkened seating area of the arena was messing with his depth perception or something. It looks cool on TV, I wonder if the players even notice. 

Props to him though for still being aggressive. I think he hit basically all his shots in the paint, and got one or two traditional three point plays

Every time I see harrison Barnes on a new team I think “surely this is a different harrison barnes” and every time im suprised to see its the same 2016 harrison Barnes

I wonder if the Spurs are looking for a consilidation trade. Barnes, Olynk and Sochan are just at $40M in expiring contracts

I mean, after 2016 I’m more surprised when Barnes is clutch than when he isn’t.

Clutch performance is such a weird attribute that can feel entirely divorced from a player’s other talents. Our best clutch player, for example, is Kelly Oubre, who’s able to play lockdown defense and hit a crazy amount of his shots (as well as up a normally mediocre 3P%). Edgecombe is also fantastic. Maxey, in contrast, has kind of struggled this year. Our best player being outperformed (compared to expectations) in the clutch by our sixth best and a rookie makes no rational sense, but that’s how the clutch is.
