[Edwards] Karl-Anthony Towns sat down and said “Damn, don’t it look good to see champion on a shirt?” Say what you want about the NBA Cup, but 30 teams have a chance to win it and try to. Only one did: The Knicks. You can’t dismiss that.
I just hope whoever is the first team to ‘do the double’ (NBA Cup & NBA finals champ) is extremely obnoxious about it
I guarantee you if the Knicks do it, the obnoxity will be off the charts.
Easily the most nuclear option. I’m into it
Ditto
Me too thanks
You know what? Fuck it, I’m Team Chaos. Let it happen.
The obnoxity in our city, in our ciiiiityyyy
How do you own disorder!
Disorderrrrrr
Now, somewhere between the sacred silence
Sacred silence and BING BONG
As a Knicks fans who lives in Boston…..yes, please.
We appreciate your sacrifice living behind enemy lines
THERE ARE DOZENS OF US.
DOZENS.
HELLO, MY BROTHER.
Honestly we are everywhere. Games on the road when they play well you can hear the Knicks fans
Look at this fucking guy, contributing to the local economy of Boston. If you really hated the Celtics, you’d uproot your life and leave. I haven’t stepped foot in the place (as a Canadian who has no reason or desire to go there, but still).
Get him!
(just chiming in to say I always appreciate our Raptorbros)
What was it like when you guys won last playoffs?
Beating Boston, On May 5 and May 7, was fabulous. Fellow Knicks fans know those two specific dates.
I think this Knicks team is likable enough they’ve overcome my general low key hating of all NY teams. I’d even be rooting for you to win the finals in almost every situation. Somehow Hart and Brunson are my favorite working comedy duo. Everything they do feels like they’re about to break into whose on first.
As a Bulls fan I grew up hating the Knicks. I hated John Starks, I hated Patrick Ewing’s slow ass, I hated Charles Oakley’s turncoat ass, I hated them all. When Thibs and DRose and Jimmy Buckets made our little run my hatred rose again like a Phoenix against the new Knicks of Carmelo and Stat and Phil Jackson. This Knicks team? I would love for them to win it all. Even after firing Thibs for “reasons”, Brunson, KAT and the crew are just easy to like. (It probably also helps that my Bulls are just bland microwaved nothing and the East is a dumpster fire.)
Oakley a turncoat? Ya’ll traded his ass lmfao.
I will always respect the fuck out of John Starks for just embracing an increasingly bizarre situation on one of my favorite tv shows. He was a trooper!
https://youtu.be/s3ckgWdD1QQ?si=r2XewJVRhF5_K6_y
this is great, I’ve never seen this
Agreed about the “reasons” I’d love to know what they are and then shove them down dolan’s throat. That being said I can’t remember who said it last night if it was the prime crew or one of the game commentators but they brought up how Mike had Brunson and Kolek playing at the same time which helped take some burden off of Brunson as the solo ball handler and that’s something thibs never would have done. When Brunson and kolek are on at the same time you definitely see a better flow and better decision making.
we’ll never know if thibs woulda won that game, but we know damn sure you don’t see tyler kolek making winning plays in clutch time lmao. also the fact that this poor mikal game was considered an outlier rather than the norm
Bridges is one of my favorite players from his days of goofing around on the suns. Great for culture and team chemistry
Brunson will be getting two thumbs if they double up.
lol sometimes I feel old then moments like this where I’m actually aware of the reference and I feel not so old
We would need the national guard here for a week. I promise you
The team will be obnoxious, but it will be nothing compared to the fans. God I hope it happens so much.
Greatest season of all time
Sir, a second NBA championship has hit New York
Obnoxicacious tendencies to be sure
Rip Brunsons butthole if this happens, Hart will be ruthless
I’m spamming the “YO KD” video if it does
If they manage to do it over the Thunder, I’m all for it lol
Was at a small music fest in the spring in vermont. Many of the musicians where from NYC and Vermont is pretty much Boston > NYC for sports. One of the musicians was like How about them Knicks!!(they had just beaten the celtics) The entire crowd was like BOOOO!!!!
“First and Only Undisputed Champs”
Yes we will make sure of it lol
Everyone hates us already and we have been in perpetual purgatory. If we win it all we have absolutely nothing to lose
76ers, Celtics, Knicks, and Lakers. If one of those teams do it, the fan bases will be ultra obnoxious
Shai was a Game away from a true NBA grand slam with first seed MVP finals MVP and finals of the cup. Would have been very hard to replicate
The NBA Triple Crown
Future GOAT conversations might involve this
Glad that timeline was avoided
But it would have to be the cup the year he won and got MVP. Though that very well may happen again this year
They’re probably talking about last year when we lost to Milwaukee in the final
Ah fair enough. Ngl this is the first year I actually followed the cup at all. But makes sense, would’ve been two games this year ig
We need to demand better, the Treble!
Cup, Regular season record, and Championship.
As a wizards fan I’m quite sure we’ll never sing that
Probably in the year of our lord 3028
Genuinely I don’t understand why the NBA doesn’t make a bigger deal about best regular season record. NHL does it too so it’s not even just a soccer thing. I feel like if they’re really concerned about people not caring about the regular season, making it a “trophy” seems like a free way to at least try to address it
Especially since home court advantage is such a huge factor in winning a championship
It should be a shield like soccer , but yeah it 100% should be a thing.
And summer league
The quad: add summer league.
The septuple: division champ, the 2030 inaugural club world cup, and the g-league championship
I promise you that if we win it you will never hear the end of it.
Nah it sucks because people will try to cap it. I’m still riding the high of 2018-2019 7 years later (Jesus) and people will try to be like “what have you done lately”. My brother, all I needed was to go along for the ride for one in my lifetime and you can’t ever take it away. Hope we win again, but I’m playing with house money now. If you don’t like that, go fuckkk yourself lol.
Hope yall get OG a ring he actually sees the court for.
It’s assholes like Celtics fans or Lakers fans that will push up their glasses and say “count the rings” that ruin part of the fun of wanting to see your team win.
Yes. I want the NBA to try to promote this and also promote some sort of triple crown
- Best Record - NBA Cup Champion - Finals Winner
It needs to happen to legitimize the Cup, i think. Otherwise it just seems like a silly random tournament. A good team wins, but it was the bucks and lakers before, and they werent close to the best nba team those years, they just happened to win that tournament.
Yes and no I think. Part of the ‘beauty of the cup’ in European football is that the ‘smaller’ clubs are fully capable of going on a run. Not that I ever expect a lottery team to win this thing, but it keeps a lot of fans engaged that way
Time is what will legitimize the Cup. Players are taking it seriously, if that continues then in years to come people will treat it as something meaningful.
What about those that get the treble, so also have the best record in the NBA
I’m here for any and all futbol/NBA crossovers
It’s a place where non-playoff teams can test their mettle a bit if they want. Obviously tankers will still tank but middling teams actually ball and coaches actually coach. Amazon put a lot of effort into making it real and the money seems good for all involved.
Also it shows your mettle in a single game elimination format. Some teams might be better built for that than others; if you rely on shooting more, that’s fine in a seven game series, but have a below average night in the cup and you’re done.
There’s a reason the Bucks (until this year) do really well in cup games, because Giannis doesn’t have a lot of variance in his results night to night in the way Steph might, for example.
In a single elimination game that just cuts both ways. You can say the 3 point shooting team could have a cold night and get eliminated, but they could also have a hot night where the 2 point shooting team just can’t keep up. At the end of the day in a single game the better team is still favored to win.
That’s true; however, a team with a highly efficient rim scorer has the best chance to be able to keep up with hot shooting nights; and also, even if you win a game by being hot, you’re unlikely to do that three times in a row to win the cup.
We are talking about variance here with two different variables. A single game format has higher variance than best of 7 series and shooting 3s is higher variance than scoring at the rim.
The better your team is the lower the variance you want and the worse you are the higher the variance you want.
So you are correct the best formula to win is being a good team that scores most of their points at the rim, but the single game format is enough variance it’s no guarantee.
It also shows playoff contenders what they are missing. Spurs got man handled By Robinson. So now they have a couple months to game plan for the trade deadline. Nba cup was a huge success
also Fox was unable to impose his will on this game the way Brunson did. A lotta money for a small shooting guard.
I don’t think anyone thought Fox was on Brunson’s tier as a player. It’s fine to over pay for some talent when some of your best players are on a rookie contract. It’s why the Rockets are doing fine with Fred Vanvleet out.
People like to clown (rightly) on Silver, but this was a slam dunk (yes, boo my pun)
Obviously tankers will still tank
No teams are really “tanking” in October and November. There are bad teams, but those teams are still playing their best players and trying to win. Teams like Indiana and the Nets were still playing all their guys and going for it, they’re just not good right now
the money is definitely the biggest factor here.
If they give out 1 million to slam dunk champion, you would see cheap ass lebron in there
Lebron catching a stray here is hilarious but you’re not wrong. that man was a hedge fund manager in another life; he only cares about money.
It’ll be interesting what the reaction will be if a non contender wins. So far everyone is taking it seriously and the winners have all been teams that have legitimate aspirations for a title.
As soon as a team that wasn’t in the playoffs the year prior wins it I imagine the discourse of it being meaningless will really start to ramp up
Idk, winning the cup still requires a decent win streak. You’re not gonna see scrub teams randomly win the cup and then to back to missing the playoffs
I think a good underdog win would help, personally.
It’s literally built for Vivek’s stupidity
What you can’t dismiss is that we looked good against good teams.
Just last year the Bucks beat the Thunder and Pacers (as well as teams like the Pistons) to go undefeated in their run to the NBA Cup
No predicting injuries. they were devastated by injuries in the playoffs.
Yeah, but also Dame got hurt in the playoffs; I don’t think it’s that insane to say they could’ve beaten Indiana and more if he was healthy.
The Cup is also a litmus test on who had a great off-season, since it is early in the season.
The Playoffs is who did the best adjustments throughout the season and survival of the healthiest across 82 games.
The October roster is different from the February roster. The 2018 Cavs is a good example.
Agree to disagree. I don’t think the pairing of Lillard and Giannis ever looked anything like people imagined going in. It’s why they didn’t hit 50 wins either year along with an older and washed up supporting cast. At no point did they look like a championship contender, anything else is revisionist history
I mean Dame dragged them to a couple wins against Indiana the year before, and had an incredible game to start the series last year; not to mention they did do well in the cup both years. It was never perfect, but far from impossible for a duo that talented to win against a better overall team, at the end of the day it’s most often the highest talent on the court that wins in the playoffs and it’s less about depth like the regular season is.
I think every team with giannis has a chance, and if dame couldve stayed healthy either year that just helps the chances but I agree they never looked like world beaters since Khris middleton got hurt the year after their title. The pacers had their voodoo magic last year but on paper the Bucks had a really good shot of beating them healthy last year, but when your old you cant expect healthy but dame had some uncontrollable health isssues himself so it all happened the way it did because thats how it was suppose to happen.
There’s absolutely no reason to think the Bucks had decent chances to make it out of the East last year. Like ya you can’t rule out a fairy tale run a la Heat in 2023 but it would have required things breaking their way significantly in every single round.
The series was 1-1 when Dame got hurt and the year before they had taken the Pacers to six games without Giannis playing a single minute. Likely to make it out? No, but nobody thought that about the Pacers either.
Nah that’s very insane. The past 2 years the Pacers have easily outplayed the Bucks in majority of their matchups. A healthy Dame in the playoffs was not going to change that. Maybe it could’ve been closer had he played every game.
Giannis didn’t even play at all in ‘24 and they still took it to six games, and in ‘25 it was 1-1 before Dame got hurt. Saying they got “easily outplayed” when they were missing a perennial top three MVP candidate the first time and had the series even before losing Dame the second seems really weird.
Its a nice barometer at this time of the year for these teams.
For a team like the Spurs, they beat the Rockets, Nuggets, Lakers and Thunder to get to the final.
Then were strong against the Knicks until they went cold.
Thats an absolute gauntlet and will do wonders for their confidence. And thats just for finishing 2nd.
For real, I’m obviously super disappointed we lost but I’m still really proud of the road it took to get there—we beat the other top-5 teams in the West as part of our Cup journey, and the Nuggets, Lakers and Thunder were all in “win-or-go-home” games for both teams (Nuggets were still a group stage game, but the winner that night was advancing and the loser was eliminated no matter what).
We’re still young and super inexperienced, but the guys are hopefully proving to themselves that they can hang every bit as well as these teams who have been there already
As long as someone beats the thunder at the end of the year.
Say what you want, games being important before Christmas feels like a change.
yeah, barkley and shaq are annoying for poo pooing on the ist.
They’ve always mattered just as much as regular season games after Christmas.
Sure but I remember plenty of years where it felt like the Christmas games were the unofficial start of the season. The NFL season used to just eat the start of the NBA season.
The NFL still does.
Of course, it’s why the games feeling important is such a change.
Why was the game important?
I don’t understand the importance of it at all either lol
It’s not that it’s important to the fans. But players play visibly harder with a price and spotlight in place, which makes the whole format a net positive for fans.
I hate this stupid narrative. Games have always been important. Look at the last few years. Playoff seeding has come down to single games. This idea that players just don’t care about the middle of the season is bullshit. Professional athletes don’t like to lose, period. It’s like the NBA is gaslighting you all into thinking the cup is so great when all it really is is an opportunity for the NBA to make more on sponsorship deals. That’s it. It’s not “the savior of the middle of the season” like some of y’all seem to believe.
I think in a couple years, when its a bit more established, its going to be viewed as a legit tournament. The issue is that it currently doesn’t have history. But, this is a tournament win, not the NBA Finals, but still a big win. To me, this is no different than a Bowl Game in college football. If they keep it, the tournament will eventually gain its prestige. And as a Knicks fan, it just felt amazing to see the team get to hold a trophy, and I’m sure all fan bases would feel the same about their team if they won. But now, time to shift focus to the NBA Championship
I think the vibe around it is shifting pretty quickly. The last three games were all bangers on the level of a great playoff game, with great production value to go with it. They just need the right venue to pull it all together.
The SVG propaganda machine is in full effect=D
I didn’t watch all of it but I probably hear SVG say how great the tournament was and how great Adam Silver was at least 3 times.
Eh there are plenty of things to shit talk Adam Silver about, but he deserves his flowers for the NBA Cup. Very clever and afaik pretty unique solution to the problem of having a long season where early games feel unimportant.
I think if they also stop using objectively bad court designs people will also come around pretty easily. As it stands right now there are definitely people who associate NBA cup games with the couple times a year they see a really really really bad floor
Was it just me or were there far less commercials and breaks? Felt pretty immersive. It’s my biggest annoyance in watching the NBA (aside from Doris Burke commentary)
Amazon’s production really made it feel special too.
It will seem more important if the winning team continues to play as one of the best teams during the regular season and makes a run in the actual playoffs. There will be some correlation to it.
That’s actually just not really how cups work in other sports.
FA cup winner rarely wins the premier league. 8 teams in its history have done it 13 times. The first in 1888.
These days prem teams just use their B teams for the FA cup, don’t they? That’s entirely different.
I’m talking about since it’s inception. It’s happened 13 TOTAL times. What’s the excuse for pre2000’s?
I guarantee there was some english man in 1872 going “what on earth is the FA cup? Utter bollocks!” and now its a prestigious domestic cup competition. Just stick with it, fix the ridicilous courts, and you’re cooking
That’s a good analogy. Is a season where you win the Orange Bowl successful? Yeah. But it’s not the same as a season where you win a title obviously.
I think the championship game is more interesting than a regular game but the games leading up to it are meaningless and it doesn’t seem like teams take it seriously.
Once you are at the semifinals sure teams probably care but the issue of it as a tournament is it’s based on random regular season games. As a fan it still feels very much like a gimmick
The bright color games are taken slightly more seriously than other regular season ones. At one point Josh Hart was screaming at McBride to run up the score for the sake of point differential at the end of a cup game.
I mean I specifically tuned into the game tonight cuz I wanted to see who would win it. More importantly the players cared and it was some really high level basketball and a compelling game. Glad the league took a risk
The NBA cup will be legitimized once whoever wins it, wins the whole playoffs. Once it becomes a predictor for the finals it’ll be much more contested to teams
It sort of already is. The first cup had Indiana and the Lakers in it. Pacers made the finals the next season. Last year was the Bucks and Thunder. Obviously, Thunder went on to win the finals. So far, history says the loser of the cup goes on to have post season success
That and also 2 of the 3 winners are very recent NBA champs.
Lakers won the cup in 2023, 4 seasons removed from 2020 championship.
Bucks won the cup in 2024, 4 seasons removed from 2021 championship.
Both teams had significant roster changes so I wouldn’t say it’s very recent.
In 7 months it will be 3 of the 3 winners
It will be cool to see Wemby win it all
That extra money is huge, win the cup or get close and Christmas is free.99
I still think the winner should get an automatic tiebreaker come playoff time. That would make it much more important to the bigger picture of the NBA season
That is a great idea. Right now the extra game is cool and all, but not mattering to the standings is double-edged, because yeah a loss doesn’t hurt, but you’re still playing an extra game no one else is, and that can cost you a game or two after due to fatigue and travel.
I want the Wizards to win it. Then it would be delegitimized for ever. Adam Silver may just cancel it after that
Lol but it will never ever be that predictor.. It’ll just be a coincidence
Fans like to hate on the NBA cup, but I’ve always liked it.
This year’s final 3 games had some incredible moments. It definitely legitimized the NBA cup in my mind.
You can tell they care because of the money. 500k is not a small amount to a millionaire. Even the highest paid players on a team know how much their teammates want it.
As a pistons fan, I love this competition. We actually competed for something and had meaningful games before our upturn as a franchise. I’d kill to win any trophy, this included.
I’m here for celebrating all Ws
Hang the Banner
NBA teams should mandate the banner be raised for winning the NBA Cup.
That way, no one team will be ridiculed for putting up a meaningless championship. It’ll also give more value to the NBA Cup win itself.
Agreed; unfortunately, Knicks said they aren’t hanging it. Dolan is the fun police
I wish they’d move this to the middle of the season instead of doing it before the season is even 1⁄3 of the way done. I don’t think people were complaining about a lack of intensity in the first 2 months of the season - that’s when every team is trying. The season starts to slow down in January and February, as the teams falling out of the playoffs start to tank, players get rested more, and games just start to run together.
Why not start the Cup in late December or January?Add a jolt to that time of the season that needs it. Have it the finals right before All Star break. It would really make that time of year feel special for NBA fans.. unlike the All Star game.
And for the love of god, please find a way to at least show the finals on national tv. I hate that this was all exclusive to Prime 🤦🏾♂️ You can’t treat this like some marquee event for the NBA, then hide it from the casual viewer. I don’t think the Cup has enough prestige or cache to get casuals to buy Prime. A lot of bars in my city don’t even have Prime. Obviously the NFL started this, but they made the worst night of football exclusive to Prime - not what’s ostensibly the biggest non-playoff game of the year.
Great games though! I thought the tournament was great and the qualifying games are interesting since the point total matters.
football
There’s football on now - NFL and college. There’s way less football in January and February.
Hi level football is in Jan and Feb. Rose bowl college championship super bowl etc. it’s better to not mess with that market for now from a basketball perspective
Prime is national TV. That’s how it got the rights to broadcast
They put cup games during football season to try to grab eyes of casuals since nba ratings always struggle during the beginning of the year when they go head to head with NFL.
Mmm people definitely were complaining about the lack of intensity to start off. Or if not intensity, it’s just that the games don’t matter much because heating up or cooling down over the stretch is what gets you in or out of the playoffs.
I feel like the “nothing counts but the playoffs” people are kind of missing the forest for the trees. The whole point of professional sports is to be entertainment. If nothing matters to you but the Finals, why are you even here?
I disagree
I care about the FA cup and stuff but it is a separate thing entirely with knockout rounds and fun matchups with smaller teams.
The NBA cup winner feels more like a happy coincidence for whoever gets it than an achievement. You just happened to win the regular season games that someone put the cup branding on to…
Sounds like something a person without an nba cup would say.
Makes sense for Cavs fans to dislike the NBA cup. They always lose games with playoff atmospheres
Eh it’s probably for the best that all the cup games (besides the final) are just specially designated regular season games because making it an entirely separate thing like the FA Cup would add so many extra games to the schedule at a time when major injuries are already happening at an alarming rate.
It’s a bit weird but it makes sense.
Considering teams have to not only play harder but also scheme to win a knockout elimination game, it’s a legitimate challenge. With how long the regular season is, the extra motivation/competition is healthy for the league.
scheme to win a knockout elimination game
How is this any different than scheming to win a regular season game?
Anybody trying to discredit the Knicks are a pure and utter hater.
I mean regardless of who wins it’s a joke to try and raise viewership
I was wondering why this felt weird reading this and then I realized that this guy types like a wrestling ‘journalist’
Plans changed. $12.99
It’s important to note that each player from the winning team gets something like $540k. And for some lower level/role players, that’s their entire year salary or double. So there’s added motivation to win it for the guys that aren’t paid like the stars.
Not to mention your average assistant coach doesn’t even make six figures, and they’re going to hook up staff that wasn’t eligible for the money too. That’s probably going to be lifechanging for some.
I can dismiss it and I will. Thank you.
Lmfao
There is no fucking way we are making the NBA Cup mean something lmfaooooooooo
The cup is fun, not overly important, and the last 2 rounds are always competitive. Winning it will never factor into a team or player’s legacy, and that’s fine.
It may not at this point. But that’s every tournament starts, dismissed by certain people as meaningless. Happens in soccer where these tournaments do matter. Eventually it will not the be the case, and it will be accepted as an important aspect of the season and a meaningful win for teams and players.
What matters is establishing it, making it feel important with the production which they have, and then having the history develop.
Kids grow up with watching it, the old people who dismissed it matter less etc
Both previous NBA Cup winners lost in the first round of the playoffs 4-1. So, I absolutely can dismiss that.
How long will it be till the NBA Super Cup is introduced?
I dismiss it
Bro nobody gives a fuck about the cup lol
Knicks fans really trying to convince us to care about this lmao
I have a feeling it’s Amazon. There was MAD support for their shitty halftime show when the season started, now everyone thinks the NBA Cup is legit? Who really fucking cares?
I do care about it but I cared about it when the Lakers & Bucks won as well. I think the Cup is fun & an achievement
Edit: people really think it’s so cool to not care I guess
I’m dismissing it, it is meaningless and screws the schedule up even more than it was already.
Did I mention it was useless?
Yes, yes you can dismiss it. I’ve been doing so since this dumbass tournament started.
Unpopular opinion: it’s stupid.
Sir, I can and have dismissed that.
no, i can dismiss it. it still means nothing lol
DISMISSED
Spurs really did knicks a favor beating okc
No one cares about the cup. When the Cavs went 15-0 last season and didn’t make the cup tournament I lost any interest in it.
Love this Knick team. I will take the silver wear after 50 + years with nothing! Kolek, Mitch, clarkson to the rescue! Love to see brown using the bench
Not totally accurate. The most games are part of the regular schedule and record, so it’s not exactly like a tournament completely separate. Move it to February, instead of ASW, then we might call it a real tournament.
Look, just because it’s a good marketing gimmick doesn’t mean that it’s not a marketing gimmick. I tuned in because Spurs vs Knicks is a damn good matchup, not because I cared about the tournament itself. Fans have shown that they only seem to care about NBA games when there’s hype, aura, or legacy attached, so Silver cooked up something with all of that to satiate them. It’s a “highlight league” after all…
Looking back, the “Load Management” era and the discourse around it really brought “early regular-season games are boring, not worth watching, and don’t matter” into the forefront. I also find it funny how much more “the Cup matters/will matter” comments there are/were when the Knicks and Lakers are/were involved vs. last year when it was OKC/Milwaukee.
Fans hate on the NBA Cup until it’s their team that wins it.
It means somwthing to the players so it should mean something for fans. Definitely a big improvement to the NBA.
KAT laughs and shakes his head “What can they say about me now?” chuckles to himself.
Im in nyc right now. No one gives a fuck
It’s innovative but it’s hard to put any value behind it due to the small sample size games. Like are you really considered champion for winning less than 10 games?
Granted, I found the games in Vegas quite entertaining and I liked the rigour that all the teams brought. And a trophy is a trophy! Knicks are the nba cup champions and that’s worth celebrating
How many do you need to win to be a NCAA champion?
At least 10.
If you go winless in the regular season, only way you’re getting in the tournament is by winning your conference tournament. That’s at least 3 wins.
Then they would certainly play in the round of 68 play-in or whatever they call it now. That adds a round to the NCAA tournament, so they’d need seven wins to win that one.
The answer is ten.
Not even remotely the same thing
The NCAA championship is the playoffs of college basketball where teams are seeded and matched up in a bracket to win the championship
The NBA cup is just teams playing regular season games on different colored floors and then the top 4 get to compete for a meaningless trophy 1⁄3 into the season. The NBA tries to market it like this cutthroat tournament but it’s really just a lazy way to boost viewership and reel in the Saudi sponsorship money
If the NBA had an actual relegation league, it would be so fun to have the NBA Cup be a combo of both.
Congrats Kat. You’re finally a winner
wow I didnt even know there was a Cup going on. Congrats to the team that won such a prestigious award!
It’s laughable because it honestly means nothing but the Knicks are acting like it’s the final result of the season. Which feels like they are going to collapse hard in the actual playoffs because they already won something lol
Knicks looking dangerous this year.
Favorites to come out of the east.
KAT two time champion after his time with minnesotab
Give the NBA Cup winner the Finals home advantage.
