Maybe the fans that started watching the Warriors during the Curry era, but us oldheads that are around the same age as Steph is now and were watching in the early 2000s…we know exactly how fucking bad it can be (those teams struggled to win 20 games).

It was 40 years between Finals wins before the first one with Curry/Kerr (1975-2015), it legit could be the same case after Steph is gone. But in no reality can we be complaining when we got to watch this core make 6 Finals trips and win 4 of them in the past decade, that’s more than a lifetime’s worth of championships, just enjoyed them when they happened.

Most of this sub doesn’t realize that aside from the Run TMC Warriors and We Believe Warriors, there wasn’t a lot of excitement with this franchise. And if you think about it, the We Believe team is just famous for a huge first round upset.

Can’t possibly complain after getting some of the best teams of all time, rebuild time.

It will be super interesting, Warriors legitimately only have 1 guaranteed contract (Moody) after the 26-27 season.

There’s a lot of talk about Kerr’s rotations, but my simple take is that the refusal to acquire a legitimate big since Bogut/McGee has been this team’s biggest issue. Look at this box score tonight. 7-foot Quinten Post got 1 rebound in this game. Trayce Jackson-Davis got 4 rebounds.

7-foot-3 Clingan had 10 rebounds and 3 blocks. Centers like Zu and AD dream about playing the Warriors. You know you’re going to have all the room you want in the lane, and that nobody will contest your shots or fight you on the glass.
