This is definitely true but for these long-range shooters (the archetype of player Steph created) shot 1 in this sequence is basically a standard practice shot.
I get doing a look away on an open corner 3 or even like a deep one where you’re dribbling into it but to look away on a side step fade away over a good contest by a forward is just absurd

Proof of how Golden State has simply built a game plan out of moving screens not being called. The second and third threes clearly come off moving screens and they’re not even that egregious, however clearly illegal. Draymond is shuffling his feet on the second three and Quentin Post uses his hands to push away two players on the third three.
If Steph is okay with playing 19 min/game & shooting ~8 corner threes per, he can easily play til 48

I mean, that flair makes it understandable as well tbh. 2017, he dropped 40 in that Game 1 of the WCF for example and averaged 30 that series (though Kawhi only played like 25min of Game 1 and that was it), and the recent games.
He also played really well in an earlier matchup before the Warriors were good enough to go deep into the Playoffs
