[Lowlight] Marcus Smart attempts a behind the back pass
LMAOOO too much sauce
I think Jarred slowed down to laugh at it lol
Can’t blame him, I can’t believe this shit lead to the ending we saw though
Smart under investigation for gambling
He didn’t want to dunk here, but went for a contested dunk with 3 people in front of him.
right after this suns went on 14-3 run
Single handedly killed all the momentum lmao
yeah i’m blaming this dumbass for us choking away the lead
Marcus Dumbass
Calling him a dumbass is an insult to dumbasses; he should instead be called a clippers fan
His failed dunk attempt with 30 seconds left makes him not dunking this even funnier.
Was that him? Dude tried dunking from what looked to me like possibly the distance of Montana from where the hoop was.
Bench his ass next game
Marcus Smart on 3!
Who’s gonna play over him? Bronny??
You trying to make me love Marcus Smart even more???
impossible
I’m crying bc I’m thinking “they’re up 20, fuck it” 😂 no way
2 point game now
This is like dropping the ball on rhe 1yd line
It’s almost expected. The Lakers somehow really struggle to maintain their lead in Q4.
Not like you needed it
This is one of the funniest plays I’ve seen. The whole movement and how casual that pass was… only for it to be the easiest steal just put me in tears. Unbelievable play.
Smart is lucky that the Lakers pulled it out at the end, because that single play was the linchpin in a huge turnaround that almost cost the Lakers the game. If he would have simply laid the ball in, it would have topped off a 30-2 run for a 22 point lead with 7:48 to go. Instead, it led to an immediate 3 on the other end and the start of a 35-14 run by the Suns over 7 1⁄2 minutes that put the Suns in the lead with 14 seconds left.
Or to put it another way, the suns had only scored 17 points in 16 minutes. After that play, they scored 35 in 7 1⁄2 minutes.
Smart is lucky that the Lakers pulled it out at the end,
This play is probably what Smart had in mind when he went for a dunk and got block at the end of the game. Tried to make up for it and almost lost the game. Guy would be the most hated guy in LA if they lost with those two plays
Genuinely would believe he’s selling the game
That’s Marcus Smart in a nutshell
The dunk attempt against a guy 2ft taller than him when we needed to burn clock was way worse too.
because that single play was the linchpin in a huge turnaround that almost cost the Lakers the game.
Y’all are reaching. This was obviously a dumb play, but this play had nothing to do with the following 20 or so possessions.
Even assuming you are absolutely right, that cost the Lakers 5 points (a missed 2 and a 3-point basket on the other side), in a game that they were in danger of losing by 1 point. So it’s a difference without a distinction.
It’s like a nba2k on a broken third party controller, the computer is just doing what it’s told lol.
The return of Marcus Dumb
Marcus “J.R.” Smith
Marcus Stupid
Marcus “Not So” Smart
Marcus Brain Shart
Literally dumbest shit I’ve ever seen lmaoooo
Not so smart, Marcus
lmao. that’s beyond shaqtn a fool
wide open layup
i sleep
throw the ball to the chasing defender for no reason
REAL SHIT
That moment when you’re possessed by the spirits of both CP3 and Stockton only for them to leave your body at the very last moment.
It’s his fault for letting each one possess one hand, they didn’t coordinate
im being deadass when I say
Is this the worst pass attempt in nba history?
no its the smartest
Yes when u include in the fact that the player he was tryin to pass to was Jarred fucking Vanderbilt lmaoo
Went from a 99% shot to a turnover I have no words
there’s just no point in passing. if he was well-defended somehow or thought he was gonna get blocked, then maybe there’d be a legit purpose of passing the way he did but goddamn he’s wide open
JJ must be livid lmao
Just…take the layup…
i honestly don’t think he is able to perform, kind of like those guys that need viagra
LMFAO
Lmfao classic smart
In fairness, Smart used to make some amazing passes on the Celtics.
He also did a lot of dumb shit like this.
Marcus “I’ve got this” Smart. TBH.
“Pssshhh. That Jokic stuff ain’t that hard”
~Marcus Smart
What a Marcus Dumb play
Easily one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen happen on a basketball court 😅
Wide open layup. Nope!
Let me scoop a pass behind my head to my opponent and start a fast break going the other way 🤦🏻
He’s so lucky they won lmao.
In the same quarter he drove down the center and I had deja vu and he got blocked.
Just lay…the..ball..up guys
JR Smith level IQ
What in the Ben Simmons is this shit
Marcus Dumb
The spirit of Corey Brewer took over him.
“Coach, I did my thing, but then I got to the rim and just ran out of talent” - Corey Brewer
Marcus DumDum
The game was over that dumb fucking play got them back the momentum. JFC.
Oh dear… lol
Remind me of the Kendrick Perkins no look behind the back pass
Easily the Shaqtin’ winner this week
This might be the most shaqtin play in history. Like what could be worse?
That was not very smart
FUCKING WIDE OPEN LAYUIP FUCK THE NBA FUCK IT SO HARD FUCK YOU ADAM SILVER AND YOUR HIGHLIGHTS
He’s gambling
lol
Celtics legend Marcus Smart
This play killed the momentum. We were lucky to win in the end.
This is what Jokic does to average NBA players. He makes it look so easy they have to try it lol
I just KNOW JJ was pissed
Marcus Smrt
Marcus “not” Smart :-)
Marcus loves that shit. If he can put a degree of difficulty on something, he’ll raise it up and do it. Used to drive me crazy when he was on the C’s. But, you take the bad with the good and all that. Except these days, I think the balance is tipping, unfortunately.
Should have done the wade arms spread pose after
Marcus ‘not so’ smart
He did pass it behind his back I don’t see the issue
/s
When you are up 20 I guess I you can afford to do dumb shit like that
The dumbest play I’ve seen all season
He didn’t attempt he did it. He passed behind the back
Just not to the right team
That explains how they made up those 20 points.
Momentum shifter right there lol..
Elite behind the back turnover
SMAHHHHT
unfortunately that was not a Mensa moment
Lmao damnn
shaqtin a fool HOF first ballot
He was doing so well until this 😒😒😒
😂
Marcus “not so” Smart with an early Christmas gift for the Suns
The sound of the crowd being a mix of cheering and laughing lmao
Muster is off the hotdog
the marcus experience!
It’s not just the pass outcome it’s the way he did it….like he was proud of his life choices
I’d argue he succeeded. Never mind that it went to the wrong guy. He definitely passed it without looking.
He wanted a d Wade photo too
Everyone’s trying to do a Luka.. but this one just looks dumb.
He also made a very dumb play that almost cost them the game in the last minute of the 4th quarter. Tried a layup in front of a very good defender (Dunn)
Ts is sending me
Not smart, Marcus.
My king destroying them from the inside
You know he still bleeds green
The FBI needs to investigate that man right now!
Always run back to defend even when you know you have no chance of catching up… you might just get rewarded for your effort… lol…
Not very smart
Marcus Not-So-Smart
that ain’t jokic!
This singlehandedly caused the Suns to come back lmao
After I saw the play, I just knew the Lakers were going to give up the lead like they always do and it was going to be a bailout at the end by one of their stars. It was nice to see the fun vibes and early success, but at this point in the season it’s just getting annoying with how unserious they are. They always goof off whenever they start building a lead. The second I saw Smart do this, I knew the Lakers were in goof off mode and that the run was coming.
And then shortly after JJ took out Vando who was nearly the entire reason how they built up that momentum in the first place for Rui who was stone cold and had 3 points all night. Lo and behold this team nearly lost the game.
I dk how many times this has to happen to them for them to learn their lesson, but I sometimes wonder if JJ’s losing the locker room with how players just seem to do w/e they want out there
Marcus Not Smart
Dazzling.
Imagine JJ’s inner thoughts
Well that wasn’t very……smart
This is the equivalent of an NFL WR catching a pass wide open and waltzing into the endzone and dropping the ball before the goalline
Whoever that is that pushed the laker 😭😭
I was thinking, should I click this? How bad could it be?…
I know JJ was mad
S M R T !
ha! Marcus Smart? more like Marcus not-so-smart! HAHAHAHAHA U GET IT CUZ SMART AND THE PLAY IS NOT SMART AND yeah i need friends
Not smart, Marcus!
Not very Smart!
Lmao this is so ridiculous that no one is talking about the layup he attempted before Brooks hit the go ahead three. He was actively trying to lose that game
When Marcus went to the Lakers, as a Celtics fan I was heartbroken. But now I see the vision. He’s even more of a Boston legend than before.
Bro thinks he’s Blake Comeau
This feels like something you’d do by mistake in a video game trying to figure out controls lol
Jokic got people clowning out here
I’m convinced this single-handedly ignited the comeback attempt
He’s so Smart that sometimes he’s Marcus Dumb.
He’s in his Christmas giving spirit
You thought you was Jokic
If he knew there was a guy behind him and that’s why he couldn’t get the shot off
Who did he think was gonna catch the ball
He obviously did it to try to get Vando a crowd-pleasing dunk, not to more easily score a bucket.
classic offensive marcus
Marcus ain’t smart
Marcus Smart throws ball directly into the sun
Don’t worry Lakers, Marcus has been doing this shit for over a decade now, he will never learn his lesson, but we love him anyway
Love that man
point shaving lmaooo
need the Shaqtin version
This whole game was some ass cheeks
As a Celtics fan this is Marcus smart in a nut shell
Shaqtin’ a fool!
mmm yes, more marcus dumb please
Bonafide Shaqtin’. Tragic Bronson Alert!
Why is he so bold. Just do the easy shit. This is one reason smart is a bench player.
