Though you have to factor Thunder missing open 3’s as well tbh. This game is a prime example of why OKC is still beatable in the playoffs. When their offense isn’t hitting the open 3’s, they falter. The hospital Nuggets almost beat them in the second round even with SGA having the best series of his life because of this, they have a lack of consistent halfcourt scoring options.
I know their net rating is really good but it feels like they either 1. Blow teams out like crazy when their 3 ball is hitting or 2. SGA saves them in the clutch when it isn’t. It’s not steady consistent solid wins
The team was something like 10-1 at the start of the season, shooting 29% from three-point range. Remember that crucial Game 4 of the Finals in Indiana? The Thunder won it making only 3 of 16 three-point attempts.
I haven’t seen Barnes play like this since 2016 🙃 if he plays like even half the player he’s been this season, we’d be in the game in the non-Wemby minutes and would be ahead at the half lol. Trusting in Mr. 100% to make a return appearance in the second half

Sure, but the Spurs have missed a ton of wide open threes in the corner. I know it’s your guys’s strategy to funnel shots there and lock down the paint, but a few of our genuine good Shooters have gotten free for some of those looks and have been ice ice cold.

It’s actually a great thing, Barnes is better than this and despite terrible shooting from the team in the first half they were still able to compete, so impressive after watching them for the last few seasons, this team is climbing and I can’t wait to see them when they fire on all cylinders

Dylan Harper is probably the most underrated rookie defensively in the league this year. Didn’t have a reputation for that in college, did have a reputation for that in high school, and has been genuinely really good on that end this year
