For such a list you always have to factor in potential rather than current performance. Says so in the first line of the article - “Which young NBA stars have the brightest future?”. Of course both of them are going to be better than a rookie with 24 games played in the league. Ask GMs which young player they’d want on their team out of the three however and the answer will be obvious.

Being under Amen Thompson is insane. Jalen is literally the guy on a team nobody expected to be good without Trae. In fact, he’s been so good it has people questioning what they’re going to do with Trae. JJ is approaching superstar territory if he can keep this up for a full season.

I mean Jdub has consistently had a higher ts% and even better 2pt% than sengun over their career. Sengun is a bit more of a primary creater, but hes also a center who should be converting 2s better. Jdub is also a better defender and floor spacer.
