I can imagine it getting annoying as hell when you are in the arena. But watching games at home? I ain’t in no hurry. I’m chillin. Can do all kinds of stuff. I can even pause the game!! and then skip the reviews!!

Multiple reviews late in a game between Kings vs Wizards is obviously historical snoozefest material but i don’t think i’ve ever seen a truly hype game between good teams ruined by a couple of reviews at end of games.

Refs shouldn’t be able to suddenly decide a push-off that happens 50 times a night in the NBA is actually an offensive foul with 10 seconds left in a 1 possession game.

If there was any clarity as to when that would be called, Kawhi probably doesn’t do it in the first place. But it’s so arbitrary when they decide to call one, and because Kawhi reasonably assumed they wouldn’t call that in that moment, since they rarely call it in any moment, the outcome was entirely in the refs hands there.

Gotta remember that the rulebook does say that an player with the ball can use their off arm to put space between themselves and the defender.

You just can’t extend it enough to put a player off balance. That’s it. That’s the only difference between a foul and a non-foul with an extended arm.

You can push off, if you’re just putting space between yourself. Get them to back up a lil bit, but if they tip over a bit it’s a foul. That’s the only reason it was a foul, Kawhi’s defender stumbled a bit.
