Use ms edge or edge beta if you watch on PC, there’s a 1080p option. Not ideal that only 1 browser displays 1080p in 2025

That’s not really Microsoft’s fault. Other browsers don’t support full resolution on some services because of DRM issues. For example, many streaming services didn’t support full resolution on Firefox and chrome for a long time because those browsers only used Widevine DRM and the content providers didn’t allow anything over 720p for browsers using that kind of DRM. If the NBA app isn’t supporting 1080p on other browsers that’s because either the NBA or the RSNs providing the feeds aren’t allowing it.
Okay so the browser resolution may be justified somehow, but what about the official NBA App? That is completely inexcusable.
