Love Naruto and as others have said, the Pain Arc is the best arc of the series, manga or anime (although, unlike many, I actually like Great War arc too).
And Kuroko is fun, it’s a little more shouneny, but a fun series nonetheless. If you’re looking for great sports series, I recommend footy anime Aoashi, which does a surprisingly good job of explaining footy tactics (though the manga is still going and the anime only got 1 season- still a great watch though ETA: It just got a S02 announced!).
Also Run with the Wind. One of my fav sports animes that just came out of left field. About a university running team that actually left me wanting when it ended.
Haikyuu focuses more on realism in sports and Kuroko no Basket is more like shounen basketball. They both entertain in different ways. If you’re keen on exploring more sports anime then I will give a shout out to Hajime no Ippo.
for me it is not even comparable, like haikyuu is enjoyable but Kuroko is top 10 all time

Table Tennis might be the only sport where elite female players can consistently beat professional but non-elite male players. If she was really trying he might only win 1 point in a 100 against her.
Endurance swimming, marathon running, shooting, rock climbing, bowling. All have elite women who beat elite men, let alone non-elite.
Men get advantage from strength. Theres plenty of sports that dont require it as a main attribute.
There’s unfortunately not really any truth to women being able to compete with men in endurance races, at least not at the marathon distance. The gold medal women’s marathon at the 2024 Olympics (2:22:55) wouldn’t be close to a qualifying time for the U.S. men’s marathon team (2:18:00).
Rock climbing is closer, but there’s still a gap at high levels. There’s probably a handful of women who can meaningfully compete and advance rounds, but the vast majority cannot.
Shooting and bowling women absolutely can and do beat men. Strength and Endurance are small enough factors for things to be competitive.
Pretty sure all of the sports you listed the elite men don’t get beat by women - not that that’s relevant to anything, I say this as a feminist
Men simply have a physical advantage in nearly all sports. It’s just biology. It’s no fault of the women. There are absolute insane women athletes, who would destroy the average man, it wouldn’t even be close. But when you’re comparing elite to elite, it’s gonna be no contest.
Bowling I could see because that’s more skill based, but there’s no shot on the rest of them.
Magnus Midtbo is a retired rock climber and I don’t think there’s a single woman rock climber who would come close to him. He’s a freak athlete. And that’s just one example.
He’s also not very good, he would be a pretty below average non-pro player even for males. But ping pong has some randomness so he might get more than 1⁄100 points
you can win a couple points it’s not quite as impossible as her trying to score a basket on him. it’s pretty easy to hit the ball wrong and send it in the net or over the table. i didnt play an olympian but i played a lot of people who competed in tournaments, a lot better than me. scored a couple points per game. im probably better than him tho. it’s more about hand eye coordination than strength.
She’s an Olympian champion though. It’s pretty easy for her to not hit the net or overshoot the table. She could probably beat him 100-0 if she gave it her all. The difference between her and people who play tournaments is BIG my guy

I watched this whole episode today. It was good. Less than 30 minutes, short and sweet and not drug out unnecessarily so doesn’t get boring.
