I remember reading Slamdunk and they were 20 points behind, it’s like an impossible number to beat but comic fashion, they able to overcome. I saw that again on Lakers vs Celtics ²⁰⁰⁷⁄₂₀₀₈ finals, down 20 and they came back coz of Ray Allen 3s. Now 20 point lead is like “oh, that’s normal”

It may not be crazy, and it’s less so that in the past, but even in today’s game, it’s still pretty damn statistically significant.

Actually this is a lot closer to the traditional understanding of karma, i.e. cause-and-effect.

The understanding of karma as a related or poetic re-action that somehow comes back to either bite you in the ass or manifest as a blessing is not actually the true nature of karma. This is a hokey, mystical new-age misunderstanding of karma.

Karma as cause-and-effect is more straightforward. Up 16 and, instead of shutting the door, leave room for an opponent to come back is in fact karma.
