LeBron James when asked about the best and most complete season of his career: “The 2018 season I felt like I could do no wrong on the basketball floor, I felt like every time I stepped on the floor I really could do everything I wanted to do.”
LeBron dragging that 2018 Cavs team to the Finals probably remains the most impressive thing I think he’s done. And he’s done a lot of impressive shit.
Jeff Van Gundy said the same
and then Lowe has gone on record that the 2018 Finals Game 1 by Lebron was the best game he’s ever seen from a player
LeBron scored like 50+ points in Game 1 against the Warriors and still lost, that’s how average to mediocre his supporting cast was in 2018, they had zero chance against the Warriors.
Average to mediocre is giving that team too much credit. Bro might as well have pulled up to the finals with guys from the local Y.
Game 1 was the jr game right?
Bruh!!!
Bruh
Yup.
LeBron visibly checked out after that.
I wasn’t even mad at him for it.
What a bum, couldn’t even beat the Warriors after his own team sold the win
One of the best snl sketches
https://youtu.be/d9HGjZd_Fm8?si=rSkWX1v0XTkhADHw
Was looking for this in the comments, thanks for posting. Cut for time is a mark of honor indicating an SNL sketch may be actually funny.
NGL, I would wear a Pancake jersey.
except when they played the Raptors, then they were suddenly the best team ever. Fucking JR Smith shot 77% from 3 in that series but was useless against everyone else, smh
reminded me of brady leading come backs with a bunch of randoms
Not zero if JR throws him the ball.
Or George Hill makes his free throws
And Bron was so pissed he punch a white board and fucked his hand up.
Lost because of JR.
The Hennessy memes afterwards were hilarious.
Greatest performance of his career if they’d pulled off the win.
Lebron averaged 34, 10 and 7 vs the pacers. He led his team in everything and led both teams in points, rebounds, assists, and blocks. He was 7 steals away from leading both teams in everything. Vs the Celtics He averaged 33 ppg, 9 rpg and 8 apg. He led his team in everything. And was 4 steals shy of leading both teams in everything. Lebron was only 7 steals and 4 steals shy of leading both teams in everything twice in the same playoff run and it’s a feat only he has accomplished in the nba finals vs a 73 win team. no other player has done that in any playoff series of any length and he almost did it twice in the same playoff run. that’s what he had to do to get that team to the finals. greatest carry job in nba history
Wonder if Kyrie ever regrets leaving Cleveland after the 2017 season. It pretty much ensured the B2B Warriors championship
I think KD had a bigger role in ensuring the Warriors back to back championships.
I remember that game like yesterday. I remember saying to myself this is the best player I’ve ever watched.
Not to say I have any right to disagree with Zach Lowe, but I still think Game 6 vs the Celtics in 2012 is the greatest game I’ve ever seen from a player live
Winning 66 games with Mo Williams probably tops it for me.
the fact that they won 66 games and were the best defense in the league shows he did have some support on that end
I’ll give you that, defensively there were some decent contributors on that team. Between old Ben Wallace, Varejao and probably missing some people but there was definitely more on that side of the court.
I will not tolerate any Zydrunas Ilgauskas erasure!!
Big Z!
Ben Wallace played with LeBron? I was not aware of that
Cavs tried their hardest to convince Lebron not to leave by giving him old Ben Wallace, old Shaq and old Antawn Jamison.
lebron also wouldn’t commit to a new deal and that made guys like Amare Stoudemire nervous about coming
Absolutely, but look at that roster. They win maybe 36 games without him?
They were a tremendously strong defensive team so he did have more help here than 2018 for sure
He did the same nonsense as a 21 y/o kid and dragged an EVEN WORSE Cavs team to the Finals. It was 2007. Then facd the Spurs dynasty in the Finals.
That’s why his “finals record” looks like that. He single handedly carried teams to the Finals multiple times that never even should’ve made the Playoffs. The curse of being too great. Most players and teams don’t even make it to the Finals. LeBron lived most of his career in the Playoffs and Finals
I recall. I remember him single-handedly beating the Pistons in Game 5 of the 2007 Eastern Conference Finals (much to my chagrin). 2018 was still a bit more impressive IMO but YMMV
That game is proof that LeBron was not too soft for that era like Sheed and others claimed. And that he would’ve played just as well career wise if he played more during that era.
I thought about this the other day. People really forgot that the pistons went the ECF from 03-08.
This is the John Elway situation. Where dragging bad teams to the Superbowl even if you lose is supposed to be a bad thing?!
I think right now I also understand why I have LeBron as my GOAT. taking bad teams that far to me is a good thing and not a slam on them!
He would’ve taken atleast one game off of the KD Warriors if his teammates weren’t selling so hard.
That was probably the weakest the East had ever been. Despite the standings, the best team was the Lebron led Cavs and the second best team was the Celtics who took the Cavs to 7 with a bunch of rookies and their two best players injured.
I mean going into their raptors series, Cavs were clear underdogs. they ended up as the best team but going into the playoffs it was not at all clear that the Cavs would make it out.
Detroit went to the ECF from 03-08
It is the most impressive thing I think I’ve seen any NBA player do. It was just insane how over the top ridiculous that was.
It is always fascinating to me how people just don’t want to take the rest of the team into account. That was just unreal.
Basically any other team ever aside from the KD/Steph Warriors and he probably wins that series
07 was right there as well
The 2 times I’ve rooted for LeBron James the most since the decision was on 2016 once the Cavs were down 3-1, and 2018 Game 1.
Still can’t believe what JR did lmao
Lebron ages differently so it makes sense his age 33 is age 27-28 for everyone else lol
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DEnLn7EljYk some highlights from that season
Lebron aging like this convinced a lot of teams that guys like PG, Kawhi, AD, Embiid, Beal, Harden, Russ, and some more guys would age well and keep being great forever. And right now might be convincing people that Giannis will be fine forever as well. “This guy was elite at 33, still played great for a couple more years, let’s get this 30+ guy, he’ll at least play like this for 5 more years”.
Totally agree. LeBron’s aging curve sorta broke the league on other players.
It’s LeBron and Brady doing it at the same time. People saw that and thought it must be science and not just a fluke
Don’t forget Curry and KD still playing great
They aren’t 40 though.
This thread is about players playing at a high level in their mid 30s, which there does seem to be more examples of in the modern league.
I would put Harden in that mix too
Brady had a very strict diet, and set of recovery methods. Lebron i think did the same, not everyone has the dedication, especially to do it for years.
I bet they are also both just naturally better at recovery. It is a function of the body and some are going to be better than others. But yes, no one can ever knock the for their dedication to their sports.
Brady has said he felt better in his 30s than his early 20s because of his changing recovery habits. The guy was mental about recovery starting in his late 20s.
Yeah, it’s a combination of genetics, and health stuff.
I know he has fallen off now, but Chris Paul aged phenomenally as well. Made All-NBA in his age 34, 35, and 36 seasons and a finals run as arguably the best player on the team.
Stafford having a career season at 37 right now.
I mean sports science has come a long way + players seem to be a bit more dedicated to longevity with their lifestyle now. Those two are also noted for how they take care of their bodies. Plenty of NBA players now are still great into their mid 30’s. I’m not sure it was a fluke.
Also Kevin Durant shrugging off an Achilles tear.
What’s crazy is that Lebron was a couple months away from 36 years old when he won his 4th finals MVP and currently Kawhi, PG and Beal are all younger than he was at that point
He’s not just older but all those deep playoff runs is a lot more miles too
Harden still elite tho 😈
Harden will be cooking your grandkid’s favorite player
Nobody thought Russ would age well
He got that supermax after his MVP season and never signed a huge contract since then
yea his decline was completely expected
Tatum just said he wants to play with his son, and he made it seem like something that will be very easy to do lol
Eh he was still the best in Miami. A more complete two way player and wasn’t just a heliocentric offensive leader. He was that in Miami but so much more on defense and off ball
That was because he had players who could create their own shot so he wouldn’t be the focal point all the time off ball. In 2018 his abilities were on full display, probably nowhere near his defensive peak but the narrative that he played no defense is worn out and easily disproven.
Not to mention his IQ made him almost a completely different player than in Miami in the way he approached the game offensively. There was no more stuffing the lane and taking away the drive, no more hogging the passing lanes. If you gave him that shot and it started falling there was literally nothing you could do but hope his teammates sell the game.
His athletic peak was undeniably in Miami, but I don’t think it’s absurd to say his best seasons occurred afterwards when he was able to combine still elite athletic ability, BBIQ and the right maturity in shot selection and skill.
I don’t think it’s absurd to say he was better in Cleveland. But in my opinion as someone who’s watched LeBron’s entire career, LeBron was never more dominant than in Miami, especially once he stopped trying to be a villain.
I agree, he was having stretches of games in Miami shooting 60% from the field consistently
Basically after Game 6.
I’d argue he was at his quickest/best leaping ability during his first stint in Cleveland. Miami he bulked up and was a slightly different type of monster athlete.
As a Raptors fan I respectfully disagree. Cavs round 2 was as close to a god on the court as I’ve ever seen.
That LeBronto series might be the best I’ve ever seen LeBron play
Which one lmao
Bank shot game winner one was slightly better. For the demoralizing feel it gave to Raptors fans alone.
Not the greatest game winner of all time, not even necessarily the most impactful. But after Kawhi’s heartdropper, it is one shot I will never forget.
Because it was just so fucking rude
Drake’s song “God’s Plan” having the lyrics “turn that 0-2 into an 0-3” made it even more hilarious.
I get that he’s always dominated the raps but that Lebronto game was him casually getting off his nonchalant turnaround fadeaway mid-range shots for the fuck of it… during the playoffs. It was something else to watch in real time.
I’m not sure it’ll ever be confirmed but I bet he was thinking this is too easy a la Larry Bird playing with his left hand to change things up.
It’s easier to put more effort on defense when you don’t have to be the entirety of your team’s defense. Put 2018 Lebron on the 2013 Heat and he’s probably slightly worse defensively because of slightly less athleticism, but he’s also much better offensively.
Idk the cutting and being a monster in the paint is something he never did better than in Miami. I don’t think 2018 LeBron is a better driver and finisher than MVP Miami LeBron. And that was a huge part of his offensive game before he had to refine it back in Cleveland
Hm, maybe. But he didn’t really have any teammates who were as good passers as Wade until Rondo. Even Kyrie isn’t that much of a passer. And he also had a lot more defensive attention in 2018, cause there weren’t Wade, Bosh, and Allen drawing that attention away and opening up the lane for him.
But even if his finishing regressed, he certainly more than made up for it in three point shooting volume and post scoring.
Haha yeah I’m sure you know which was his best season more than him.
K let’s never have any opinions ever just because an athlete says otherwise.
I mean you’re literally trying to disagree with LeBron’s own retrospective assessment after he’s had time to reflect. It’d even be different if it was some other NBA player, but this is also one of the brainiest players ever who monitors his body and mind better than perhaps any other athlete in history.
But I guess apologies to you, Mr. u/whatssenguntoagoblin
Scottie Pippen said Michael Jordan was a “horrible player”. Also after he had “time to reflect”. Should I not disagree with his retrospective of his time player with Pippen just because he played with Jordan?
Eh, I think it’s pretty obvious at times that players have trouble acknowledging their athletic declines so it make sense that they would view their most skilled year as their best year. Nash even alludes to it when he picks 2006 as the season he felt he was the best but admits the analytics might say otherwise. It’s not always easy to feel when slight declines in athleticism are affecting your overall impact in ways you don’t realize.
Probably helped that he played with the best talent (as a team) in 2012 and 2013. Wade and Bosh were still both great second and third options, and all the role players were very refined, most of them were high IQ role players like Shane, Ray, and Miller. Not to mention impactful dudes like Birdman and Chalmers. Spoelstra also did an amazing job building the cohesive team style.
Everybody on the Heat, except for the post position, were lock down defenders and veteran players.
On the Cavs, LeBron really had to be creative and keep an eye on what everybody’s doing, constantly reminding them where to be lol. So yes, he was less of an individual, and became more of a coach on the floor as well (which wasn’t necessary when he was with the Heat).
I believe it was his second season in Miami where he was shooting like 60% from the floor
What people aren’t mentioning in here is that he learned to work out of the post in Miami. In his first Cavs stint he NEVER worked out of the post, he added that spin move and turnaround to his game and it added a whole new dimension to his offense.
Lebron especially, but also Curry and KD have completely distorted the expectations of aging stars.
That and hes laying the groundwork for his final season or 2 in Cleveland. Would love to see him play 2 more years. But I would bet it all hes going back to Cleveland for one more next year.
Lies. He obviously wanted to murder JR Smith on the floor but didn’t do it
I kept imagining LeBron punching out his teammates while bringing the ball up the court. Just landing a sick combo knockout on Rodney Hood before driving the ball down the lane and dunking on everyone.
He compromised and punched a whiteboard instead
Damn I forgot Rodney hood was on that team, I felt so happy when the Cavs got him :(
I mean 8 games 40+ points, avg of 34 per game, 922 minutes in playoffs game. He a savage
I wish we could see prime Bron in 2025, with stat inflation I think he could average 35/10/10 with DPOY defense if he wanted.
on 65%ts
With hair
Kind of true because he had the maturity to chose his moments and it was the year when he had figured his shot.
But regular season wise, his best years were at Miami
LeBron is one of the few players who have a clearly distinct regular season and playoff peak
None of his 2nd Cavs stint regular seasons were better than any of his Heat or later 1st Cavs stint regular seasons but his 2016-2018 playoff stretch is pretty easily the best of his career
Like he carried an average 2009 Cavs team to win 66 games while a MUCH better 2017 Cavs team won 51 games that tells you a lot about how crazy younger LeBron’s RS impact was
I don’t disagree with the whole “LeBron should have a couple more MVPs” argument but I feel people always bark up the complete wrong tree by focusing on his post-2013 LeCoast years there’s a much better case that he should have had about 6 MVPs already by the end of 2013 and impact metrics generally back up this case for him as well he just didn’t have the narrative for all of that yet
Off the top of my head, add dwade, Kobe, dirk and Steph to that. Even giannis who’s best playoffs was his non mvp year
LeBron at his young peak is BY FAR (even when you consider monsters like Giannis) the best transition player in NBA history. And that skill is definitely very useful in RS, a bit less so in playoffs.
Lebron was was just as good if not better in the playoffs in ‘17 and ‘18 than ‘15, ‘16. And according to Lebron and Draymond Green ‘18 was the best version of him. And those two would know better than almost anyone else.
2008-2009 the Cavs won 66 games with their second best player being Mo Williams or old Ilgauskas. I think that might be LeBron’s best regular season considering how bad his supporting cast was.
When looking at the win totals of LeBron’s teams throughout his career and the relative supporting casts he had I think it’s pretty indisputable that was his most impactful year
The 2008⁄09 Cavs were tied for the most wins EVER for a LeBron team but would anyone put a single player from that roster on an all-time team of his best teammates? Obviously not
2008⁄09 was also the season he had the best advanced stats for the most part, including PER, BPM, VORP, and WS. His defense might have been a little better in Miami but he still finished second in DPOY voting in 08/09, so it’s not like he wasn’t an elite defender.
WS is a weird stat (like every defensive stat really), but by DWS (6.5) it’s his only season that goes into freakishly good territory, the only non-centers with >6.2 DWS this century are 2001 Marion, 2012-2014 Paul George.
And by PER his 2009 playoffs are the best performance with >10 games by a pretty sizable margin. 37.4 PER over 14 games, next is Mikan at 33.6 in 13GP. The highest two to make the Finals are 2018 LeBron (32.2 in 22) and 1991 Jordan (32 in 20).
his best years were at Miami
His most dominant were in Miami, but he wasn’t a complete player yet. It’s sort of like why Shaq can’t (or didn’t) shoot: because he didn’t have to. LeBron could just steam roll everyone to the basket so he never developed a great shot.
By his early 30s he had figured it out and became that complete player he’s describing.
Note I’m not in any way saying LeBron shot like Shaq, he was actually a decent shooter, just that he didn’t have to rely on it because he was so great at scoring in other ways.
he figured out his shot in 2017 when he shot 41% from three on 6 attempts per game in the playoffs
agreed. even eye test, Miami Lebron was just nuts. he was still fast as fuck AND he put on weight/muscle. and his 3 shot was starting to come together.
He has like 3 game winner buzzer beaters that season too
G3 vs Toronto was the sickest Gamewinner ever. Destiny just also set it up in a way it was pure magic. Before that game LBJ said “2 points isn’t 2 points I’ll explain later” just to completely kill the spirit of a top level Toronto team with the most casual looking but also super tough, goofy, running midrange floater. It’s like he just proved his earlier statement because those two points were so exceptional and decided the series right there. Had the raptors taken G3 that series may very well have gone G7 but losing in that manner just killed not just the series but this entire raptors team. After that it was clear that DeRozan and Lowry won’t win a ring together, so they got Kawhi. That shit was fucking crazy to witness live. Bron in the 2018 playoffs was like watching Hercules walking the earth, just a demigod making shit happen
Turn the 0-2 into the 0-3 daaaawg
2018 LeBron is the greatest version of a basketball player ever. Genuinely there is no debate to be had.
Honestly, there’s no wrong answer out of 2015 LeBron, 2018 LeBron, and 2024 Johnny Davis.
You are kiddibg yourselves if u believe 1991 jordan is not even in the debate
He was a monster in 2018 everybody was thinking that
2018 LeBron was a religious experience for me
Kevin Durant is such a loser man. He didn’t want real competition, and ruined the NBA when LeBron and Steph were in their prime. KD is bitchmade
Imagine how those years shake out between GSW, OKC, Rockets, Spurs, and Cavs if he never leaves.
Harden would have made a finals at least
Thats if they still get Chris Paul.
iirc they got Paul to answer GS getting KD.
I think about it all the time. Way more interesting timeline…… Kyrie probably stays if they win another chip too in 2017? Or if they get super close I don’t imagine Kyrie leaves. 2018 would be insane too
Kyrie was leaving no matter what. Winning again arguably would have put him in a bigger hurry to get out.
I don’t know. Would anyone leave after winning 2 rings in a row? That’s like kind of insane no?
No one accused Kyrie of being sane.
Yes, he absolutely would have left. He left because he didn’t like feeling like he was in LeBron’s shadow. He wanted to be “the guy” on his team and he was obviously never going to be that for the Cavs as long as they had LeBron. If they won another championship, all that would do is further cement LeBron’s legacy, and Kyrie’s place as a great second option.
He’s definitely insane. But he’d probably be the first guy to leave after winning 2 chips, wait: there was that one guy in Chicago who left after winning 3 chips, but it wasn’t like he was good or anything /s
Agreed. As fans we missed out on what could have been an epic finals rivalry for at least a few years. Hell okc or the rockets could have possibly even gotten one in those years had kd stayed in okc
“I had a 15 year peak season once”
everybody watching felt like this as well, especially during the playoffs
That Finals, I thought the series would be 4-1 because LeBron would drop a 50 points triple double to take a game singlehanded. Then game 1 happened.
I don’t think he gets there if he never leaves Cleveland. The playoff experience he got in those heat years is when the game rlly slowed down for him
He had already played in the finals before he left Cleveland and had multiple other playoff runs. He had tons of playoff experience already when he showed up in Miami.
I don’t think he’d get that good if he’d never left Cleveland though, there’s something about being on a really dominant team that made him into more of a cerebral player
LeBron and Nash talk about how amazing Spoelstra is as a coach for about fifteen minutes in another episode, so he’d probably agree with you that that he learned a lot in his Miami years.
He won 66 games in Cleveland before he left. They were a dominant team.
There’s a world of difference between the Heatles and the 1st stint Cavs
Robbed of a chip that year.
He aint lyin. I watched every game he played that year. This was the most complete Lebron.
He had game winners, buzzer beater close outs. He closed games confidently, and composed.
This season, and the 2015 nba finals, is the Bron everyone was waiting to see.
That year he had three game with 17 or more assists, including his career high at 19 (which he matched in 2020).
So he talks about the scoring and the defense, but his passing/vision/feel for the game was also peaking as well.
Nice interview question. Nash is finding ways to get these legends to share fun perspectives
2018 he really was a maestro conducting a symphony out there. Dude literally could do anything.
I was ignorant back then, I was still a Kobe head and was a natural LeBron hater.. but this season.. this season was so damn great. Everything he did was amazing this year. I stopped hating and started appreciating and respecting
I thought this is the normal take. Is it?
There are usually 3 normal answers here which is 2018, 2013 (57/40/75 shooting splits, 2nd in DPOY, 1 voter away from unanimous MVP + a ring) and 2009 (another MVP season peak athleticism)
He was also runner up for DPOY in 09
Crazy how two of those are 9 years apart. LeLongevity
It is but its cool to hear it from the guy himself
He was incredible in the playoffs. I think anyone who only watched regular season LeBron would disagree, though - he was pouting for much of the year, and his defensive effort was atrocious.
Toronto in shambles
That playoff run he had was insane remember rooting for every team that played the Cavs and he kept on winning
It makes sense, for male im pretty sure youre peak mentally and physically is your early thirties. I know for athletes its usually their decline physically but LeBron is super human lol
This was the also the season were he played all 82 games.
As a Toronto fan, yes.
LeBron in 2018 might as well have been a god in a man’s body. He was an absolutely lethal machine in those playoffs.
that damn right hand floater going left is still ridiculous
Yeah… that season he had the perfect combo of experience and still enough athleticism to do whatever he wanted. 2018 playoffs LeBron was probably the best individual stretch of basketball ever
Would the ‘18 Rockets have won the chip if they beat GSW that year? Bron was on a heater but I’m not sure it would have been enough
As a Cavs fan I’d have to give the advantage to Houston.
On the other hand what is Houston doing to stop Lebron?
But nah, Rockets are probably winning that.
That cavs team got taken to 7 by the pacers and celtics missing kyrie and hayward. Both of those teams were significantly worse than 18 rockets
The Thinking Basketball Greatest Peaks debate on this topic of when LeBron peaked was awesome, highly recommend it.
I wonder what would have happened if they somehow stole G1. Probably lose in 6 but you just never know…
He is starting to sound like Doc Rivers.
LeThanos is the best player I’ve ever seen.
Yeah that 2018 run was something special man. The LeBronto sweep in particular was so wild to me at the time. Toronto was the 1 seed and favored across the board and LeBron just dismantled them
Edit: Also game 1 of the Finals was the closest thing I’ve seen to just Jesus on the court. I was too young to see and remember MJ’s best moments live but LeBron was hitting everything it felt like in that Game 1
2018 was definitely my year too.
He led the league in % of minutes spent walking this year too. So maybe he mastered energy conservation for offense in 2018
That 2017-2018 Bron season was different
He was completely unstoppable the entire season. I’d agree with that take
I remember Avengers Infinity War also came out the same time LeBron was doing this unbelievable stuff on the court and thinking to myself “man what a time it is to be alive”
2013 LeBron was the god tier LeBron imo
Meanwhile, couch potatoes who get winded walking up 2 flights of stairs will say that wasn’t impressive 🤣
2018 PO’s Lebron is peak Lebron.
Crazy that 2018 was one of the highest player peaks ever but still the what…3rd best version of LeBron?
2009 could take off from the free throw line and be looking down into the rim, guard 2-4 extremely well, get to the rim at any moment, and was generally like a 6’9 prime D Rose athletically.
2013 he was the best defender in the league that wasn’t a 5, the best offensive player in the league, and was almost as athletic as 2009 but far stronger.
2016 of course he was just as complete as he was in 2018, but just that little bit younger and faster.
I wonder if it’s just a confidence issue vs 2017 season. LeBron had to do more in that 2018 season because the team around him was buns, but 2017 should have been just as good yeah?
LeBron actually entered the league at 14.
Yeah, it was 2018. You big jerk.
Bro trust us we watched and you could literally do everything and anything you wanted. I stg that year of LeBron was insane to watch.
Sea of Ref’s nodding in unison 😂
Lebronto
I started calling LeBron the goat after the 2018 season/playoffs. I couldn’t believe what I was watching. That was the highest level of basketball I ever witnessed. The level of pure skill on display was unreal, if you’re too young and didn’t see that, I just don’t even know how to explain how insane he was. I understand why some might say 2013 (third year in Miami) but 2018 Bron was the best offensive basketball player I ever and his defense was phenomenal as well.
I started following the NBA in 2016 and LeBron already felt like the old vet back then, what he did in 2018 was inhuman
The Lebronto year
I had the LeBron 15s it’s that shoe
Yes, we remember. 🥺
Reminds me of this clip of the interviewer saying it’s a critical trip and they could slip to 6th seed… and he is like “it doesn’t matter what seed I am, if I come into your building for game 1 it will be very challenging.
https://youtube.com/shorts/EDyx8qNUsAk?si=zWNYDluxu6HbrsBk
That full court sprint dagger at Toronto is definitely one of the greatest full court drives I’ve ever seen in basketball..
He shouldve been MVP that year abismal team. 22 teammates, only lost 1 less game without Kyrie and in season change. Took a bunch of bums and nee guys to the finals still
This guy at his peak seems like lock always to be in the finals.
This was the “He Boomed Me” season
