Max Kellerman ask Rich Paul if there’s a chance LeBron won’t be a Laker by end of year:
“No. Where’s he gonna go? Does LeBron make the Knicks better? Yes he would, of course but 29 other teams would say the same thing”
“Is Lebron happy living in his preferred city, making $52.6 million this year, to play with two incredible playmakers, on the same team as his son?”
This may be the dumbest question of all time
I was just thinking. wasn’t he building his California house while he was in Cleveland? plays with one son, other son is one step over. younger kid goes to the school there. he’s been there since 2018? why would be go to the Knicks? there is nothing there for him.
My NY brother visited me in SoCal this weekend.
“I went on the plane and it was 20 degrees, I got off and it’s 70”
Lebron is probably very comfortable rn
His daughter is also playing volleyball and there’s nowhere in the country better for that than LA with the exception of Hawaii.
Volleyball travel teams are intense in LA
It’s more important than high school volleyball for getting a VBall scholarship. Lot of money to be made.
Yeah LeBron James really needs his daughter to get that scholarship, how will he afford college otherwise?
it’s not Lebron who wants her to have the scholarship, it’s zhuri.
Not for LeBron, but there are a lot of middle class plus parents and mega rich parents (Rich Paul, Adele, Candice Parker) who do have their kids in the same league. One of my best friends runs a Vball league that has some of those super rich parents (mentioned above). They might not need the scholarship but other parents do or could use the help

For sand that’s true but not for indoor. Texas, and Dallas in particular, are the queens of club ball. Won the top division in every age from 11s to 17s and won like half of the total national championships across all divisions. Possibly the deepest region of the country as well. Those Texas girls are built different.
Those big ol’ women in San Antonio also love a good game of indoor volleyball.
Charles is that you?
This is one of those times that I love Reddit because we’re in the nba sub arguing which state has the best women’s volleyball players 😂
Come on man we have a Volleyball in New York.
Just the 1 though, gotta share it
Sir, Nebraska is the womens volleyball capital of the US.
Collegiate yes
SoCal is the volleyball US capital for everything else including beach volleyball of course
Is this like a height thing? Are women taller in that area of the US? I’m genuinely asking.
Nah just nothing else to do
The women take volleyball as seriously as football in Texas since the girls don’t play football.
Seriously, good weather year round is like a + boost to happiness all the time. I’m walking around in shorts and sandals today flying from Phoenix to LA
It’s 7am. I’m in shorts and slides walking my dogs.
Its 10:15am and im putting on my boots to go shovel snow.
You fuckers are weird.
As a SoCal native, it’s 59 degrees this morning and I’m in jeans and a thick hoodie.
If you’re from a colder place than you have more tolerance. Me being from SoCal I agree. In the early mornings I’m bundled up.
You can always tell transplants/tourists from cold weather. We went to Redondo beach pier this weekend and was wearing sweaters and you can see tourist with sandals, shorts, and tank tops.
I shoveled 2” of snow off the driveway in shorts this morning
You put on shorts for 2” what a wimp
Touché. I’ll clear the 3-5” tomorrow in my birthday suit!
NYC is more fun when you’re fine slumming it in a tiny apartment, but nothing can beat retiring in a mansion in west LA. Bron is sitting pretty rn
Even a modest 3-bedroom house in La Puente is a better place to be than like 90% of the country.
Lol that’s so specific. Shout out La Puente!
I was trying to think of the most innocuous suburb that wouldn’t even register on most people’s radar to emphasize how nice even a rando place here is, and it was either La Puente or Whittier, lol.
LePuente
My sister in law from Ohio complained after living in so cal for a few years. “There’s no seasons here”.
As a resident for forever, there are seasons:
True Summer - July/August-September/Early October (this is when shit is on fire usually)
Fall - October-Part way through December
Rainy Season/Colder - December - Marchish
Spring - April - June (note: June may also be the start of a false summer depending on how hot it gets)
It just doesn’t snow unless you head to the mountains while the rainy season is happening elsewhere.
Yes you don’t have to tell me I’m with you lol. It’s them, they’re just being a hater (but I do see the humor that their seasons are more dramatic than ca during the fall and winter)
I do miss the fresh snowfall to be honest. It’s beautiful when it’s just settled and packed.
It’s dealing with that shit melting and icing over that suuuuucks.
But yeah, I see what your SIL was saying. For long periods of time, the changes in the weather are fairly subtle.
Eh weather isnt all there is for comfort for some of us.
I prefer my 20 minute El commute that wouldnt be possible in LA lmao
My commute is like 10 minutes here in SoCal.
And nearly half of my friends work from home
Thats rare but youre also stuck in traffic if you want to do anything.
Yes but it’s not as big of an issue where I need to move to a different city
Well to me it would be lol, im just saying different strokes for different folks is all.
I mean if you don’t travel during rush hour it’s comes like any normal city.
Your stroke is very minor
He arranged the whole last stage of his career to be with his family in LA. He and his wife had schools picked out for all their kids and a plan for them from the moment he went to the Lakers. AND he stayed on some pretty bad Lakers teams and never demanded a trade. Now that he’s finally on an actually contending Lakers team again, why would NOW be the moment he blew up the entire plan he seemed to be building towards for a decade? It makes no sense.
I mean he bought a house in Brentwood while he was still in Cleveland (Nov 2015) and then bought another one a few years later (Dec 2017) when he decided he’d sign with the Lakers the following summer.
and mfers from Mavs thinks Luka wants to go back to Dallas after experiencing the life in LA. Hell nah
I think there’s a 0.01% chance that Bron leaves the Lakers but just to play Devil’s Advocate for a second… NY is a huge market just like LA, the Eastern conference is pretty soft compared to the West, the Knicks are a historic franchise, and they haven’t won a championship since the 70’s…. If he went to the Knicks and won a championship, that would further cement his legacy. He’s already won rings while playing for 3 different franchises, nobody has ever won a ring with 4 different teams. Like I said, I think it’s a very near 0% chance that he goes anywhere but that would be the rationale behind it if he decided to jump ship.
Not to mention, the Knicks would give up a huge haul of players and picks for LeBron, which would set up Bronny for the future. James Dolan would disassemble Madison Square Garden piece by piece and ship it to LA if it meant he could make all that sweet, sweet merchandise money off of LeBron’s jersey sales.
FR why would he leave LA when he already lived there for 8 years and counting lol. With how he’s aging right now he’s about to take a pay cut just to let Reaves get the bag.
By the end of this year, he would’ve been in LA longer than any of his other teams in one stint.
That’s wild. Feels like just yesterday Sixers fans were tracking guys from the Lebron crew visiting prep schools in Philly when he was leaving his second stint in Cleveland lol
I have no doubt this is true but goddam my brain cannot compute
Well this is a question only the great Muhammed Kellerman would ask.
Muhammed? 😂, why?
https://youtu.be/vq7Yi9rg44Y?t=50
Enjoy
It’s only dumb if you don’t consider that it’s entire purpose was to get us here talking about it
Who designed that set 😂
You don’t like the “Purgatory conversation with God deciding to send you to heaven or hell” vibes?
y’all better be careful in life or you’ll end up in an interview with Max Kellerman
The line that got me is him saying “ just between us what do you think?” It’s hard to picture a casual conversation on a set like that.
holy fuck, ok, i’ll be better from now on
With the universe on the line and the Martians got the death beam pointed to the Earth
Max “Ma’at” Kellerman
LOLLLL
Open shot, fate of my immortal soul on the line, I want IGUODALA.
“You know when Eleven goes into that fully black nothingness in Stranger Things? I want that.”
It looks like where they film the reenactments of “Charlie Murphy’s True Hollywood Stories” on the Chapelle Show 🤣
Thank you, my exact same thought.
Max Kellerman’s fart
Why in the universe would he leave that situation.
I think LeBron and Rich Paul are just trying to project like LeBron still has all this leverage just for perception.
The reality is all of what was left of his leverage with the Lakers went up like a puff of smoke the second Luka signed his extension this summer. He barely had any left when Luka was traded to the Lakers to begin with, but once Luka signed that was it.
It must feel very weird for him and Klutch to not have an organization in a stranglehold anymore, waiting on their every whim. Not saying that the Lakers would ever want to get rid of LeBron but the power dynamics have completely shifted in the franchise’s favor and I really doubt LeBron, Rich Paul and Klutch like being third priority after being number 1 for the last 22 years.
He will be 42 during the next season. Forty two. That man is not looking for his next contract but for his retirement tour.
He is probably far far far more concerned about his next steps after retirement than which team he might want to move too. He is on a different path.
I’m interested in his retirement tour. When he missed the start of the season with sciatica–a classic, “I turned 40 and my body is falling apart” long-term injury–I figured this would be his final season (I mean hell…he just missed a game with “arthritis”). But I just can’t imagine Lebron going out without a retirement tour, so he’d have to play next year because I think the Lakers have already played all their road games at certain arenas. I guess we’ll see if he comes back next year. It would feel super strange if Lebron, one of the most media savvy athletes ever and a man who has never shied away from attention, retired with no warning in the offseason.
But yeah…if he does play next season for a retirement tour, it will be on the Lakers. He’s not signing in some random city for one season; he loves LA and set up the last stage of his career to be in LA and close to his family. The only other remote possibility would be a final season in Cleveland, but I doubt he would spend that time away from his family. The big question would be what kind of contract he gets from the Lakers if he plays one more year because he is a UFA. Unless Reaves gets hurt, there’s no way in hell he picks up his player option next year, so the Lakers are going to have to pay him a ton. Maybe Lebron would sign a much smaller contract in his final year, but he has said he won’t do that anymore after repeatedly taking less money in his first 12 years in the NBA. Maybe he’d take less now that he’s a clear number 3. If he doesn’t, the Lakers would probably just overpay him for his final season, but we’ll see what happens.
Depends in how he holds up and how much time he still wants to spend devoted to basket. I always kinda thought this past off-season he would decline his option and sign a three year team friendly deal. The 27-28 season would be his farewell tour and would mark a quarter century in the league. Then cap off his career at the LA Olympics. Would be wildly poetic.
Oh for sure that would be wildly poetic if he could last until one more run in the Olympics. I pictured a similar timeline as you, but I started doubting it as soon as they announced he was going to miss the start of the season with sciatica. Sciatica can be brutal and linger for a loooooooooooong time, and it’s such a 40-year old injury (sciatica is most common for people in their 40s), and then he was on the injury report a few games ago with arthritis.
I’m just not sure he can make it that long now. A year ago, I would have thought he could, but now I doubt it because the injuries seem to really be piling on.
Lebron absolutely wanted more years and control and lakers denied him that.
They are not extending or keeping Lebron for any sort of cap commitment at this point. Once his option is done he’s likely gone or going to sign some very small deal for no money.
The retirement tour is going to be interesting if the lakers continue to get better. If he does it, it’s going to be such a huge distraction and if the lakers are playing for something, and they have an mvp candidate in his prime trying to win, and not wanting the circus that will bring it could get weird.
It must feel very weird for him and Klutch to not have an organization in a stranglehold anymore, waiting on their every whim.
Fans really have a warped sense of how much drama and lobbying happen in the NBA. You guys make it seem like it’s a soap opera with Littlefingerian plots and schemes.
It’s really weird how fans on reddit have to make everything a conspiracy. The majority of them don’t even like basketball for basketball. Like you said, they see it as a soap opera they can get online and gossip about. It’s like dude just ignored everything Rich Paul said and made up his own story about “LeMasterMind” lol
Literally. The narrative is “LeBron is so passive aggressive and is trying to manipulate the team” or “he’s not happy that he’s not the number one option anymore”, but Bron has never actually indicated that he was looking to go to another team, especially after the Luka trade. If you actually watch the games, this man looks like he’s having a blast not being the 1st option for once in his career. People will literally try to dig through every single thing he says, and every face he makes, and then make up the narrative that they already believe in around that. It’s so stupid, and is exactly what is wrong with media
I think he has a ton of leverage. Do you know what happens to jersey sales, ticket sales, views, etc when you add one lebron james, even at 42 years of age?
Yeah idk how the Los Angeles Lakers with Luka could possibly sell jerseys and tickets without a 42 year old LeBron that’s been there for years.
The point of my comment is that LeBron still has a ton of leverage
I agree with you the amount of revenue he’s gonna spit out for his retirement year is gonna be nuts.
Home game tickets are gonna be nuts, jersey sales out the roof unless Lebron is asking for an incredibly large contract there’s no way the Lakers don’t re sign him for his farewell tour.
I’ve never been to an NBA game (I’m from NJ so I’d have to go to the Garden or BKN) but if/when they announce a farewell tour I’m insta-buying tickets to the Brooklyn game. There’s gonna be a bunch of people like me coming out to every LeBron game at that point
I plan on going to see a Krakens game next year for my first NHL game when I go to Seattle very excited.
You should definitely go, hockey is awesome to watch live!! I’ve been to a bunch of Devils games over the years and it’s always a great atmosphere!
If he was gonna play another few years maybe, but LeBron cares about his perception and the organization knows it. He’s not going to do his last year and retirement tour in New York randomly. The only other conceivable place he can go is Cleveland. He’s not going to make a Washington wizards move
Not everything is a conspiracy or 4d chess bro. And LeBron isn’t some petty supervillain with a stranglehold on the on the Lakers or NBA lol
Lebron hasn’t had much leverage over the Lakers in the last year or two. Everyone knows he wants to be in LA with his family, and I don’t think anyone seriously thinks he’s going to go play somewhere else for one final season. The only possible option would be Cleveland, and that’s highly unlikely. So yeah…both the Lakers and Lebron know the deal.
And I think you’re *vastly* overestimating the behind-the-scenes drama. Lebron is a smart man; Rich Paul is a smart man. They know Lebron is nearing his end, and I can absolutely guarantee you Lebron was ECSTATIC to get Luka and doesn’t give a damn that Luka’s the new star. Lebron’s 41 years old, and he’s never been a particularly egotistical superstar. This is the same guy who was mostly okay with somehow never being the highest-paid player on his own team until the 16-17 season, his 12th season in the league. He’s also a massive basketball fan who has been on the “Luka is otherworldly good” train from his rookie year and regularly talked about how much he loves Luka’s game. He also went way out of his way to effusively praise Reaves when Reaves was a rookie. Lebron knows he’s 41 and doesn’t have much left and isn’t going to be the regular #1 on a team and wield that kind of power; he’s always been self-aware. I’m sure he’s overjoyed to be able to play with two All NBA-tier guards at this stage in his career and not at all insecure about it.
And the whole obsession with Klutch is always weird to me. People don’t do that with other agencies, right? What stranglehold did Klutch ever have over the Lakers? AD was Klutch, but the Lakers make that trade for AD regardless of his agent ten times out of ten. And then the rest of the pressure Lebron put on the Lakers was because he was Lebron and didn’t have much to do with Klutch. The only glaring example I can think of would maybe be the Lakers re-singing Horton-Tucker (Klutch client) over Caruso, but no one knows for sure if that was because of the Klutch connection. The biggest (and most disastrous) move the Lakers made was getting Westbrook, which Lebron wholeheartedly supported for some reason. Westbrook is not a Klutch client.
They know Lebron is nearing his end, and I can absolutely guarantee you Lebron was ECSTATIC to get Luka and doesn’t give a damn that Luka’s the new star. Lebron’s 41 years old
One thing athletics teaches you in spades is that being really good isn’t just tough, but a lot depend on things you can’t control (it’s why a lot of athletes are very superstitious in their routines). It gives you a perspective that those in the regular/non-competitive world don’t have. And then when you start to age, and the things that used to be easy are tough work you really feel your limits in a way few things can teach you.
I guarantee you that Lebron has felt his limits a lot time ago. And is grateful that he’s not stuck in a horrible team, playing irrelevant basketball (the way Kobe was), on an aging body. He can take his time, if he’s hurt, to recover. He’s important enough, and good enough to still make an impact… but he’s not absolutely needed every second.
And he’s already won the Lakers a ring, and has a reasonable chance to do so again with Luka. I legit don’t know why he’d want to go elsewhere. Short of Denver, no other place is perfect for his basketball skillset right now. But LA is so much better for him (not to mention his family).
I don’t see any projecting. The interviewer asked a question and Rich answered it. He didn’t insinuate in any way that LeBron wants to leave.
This is all accurate except LeBron still has the no trade clause, so in that sense, it still is up to him if he stays with the Lakers this year, even if they do think of trading him. Beyond this season is when things will get interesting in terms of what remaining leverage, if any, LeBron will have.
If he wants to stay on the Lakers beyond this year I’m sure our front office would love to keep him. This time though it would have to be on the team’s terms and not LeBron’s, since they obviously have to prioritize Luka and AR for the future.
I don’t think anyone, even Bronny, has benefited more from LeBron’s success than Rich Paul
You’re not lying lol
Dude went from selling jerseys out the trunk of his car to being engaged to Adele
Imagine the wedding singer for that wedding.
The pressure
Might as well get the sandman
How the hell did I just found out dude is with Adele lmfao. Most random timeline
I think two things can be true at once: 1. Rich Paul never would have gotten a chance to do anything in the NBA if he wasn’t friends with Lebron, and 2. Rich Paul 100% maximized his opportunity and has been amazingly successful through his own hard work and smarts.
I bet that 99 times out of 100 a superstar’s friend getting a chance like Rich Paul wouldn’t come close to building anything like Klutch.
10000%
Dude the odds are so much rarer than that. Think about all the decades of pro sports drafts. All the players who’ve been touted as “the next goat” and I’ve watched enough sports docs to know, the majority of them bring a few boys from growing up with them and give them roles and a nice paycheck. Rich Paul is literally the only example I can think of one of the boys who took that chance and excelled like he has
I mean Klutch only took off and became successful because everyone and their mother knew it was basically lebrons agency considering everything Rich Paul had in 2012 to even start it was given to/funded by LeBron lol
For every rich Paul there’s several friends of freq
Rich Paul took the opportunity and became a good agent tho. Has bronny became an nba level player lol? Not really
You act like just working really hard mens you can become an nba level player lol
Ignoring the Bronny comment, Rich Paul certainly has some skills, or he wouldn’t control half the talent in the league and dictate policy. LeBron launched his career, but he did build an empire.
I’m not disagreeing that Rich worked hard and is good at his job. I just didn’t understand the dig at Bronny as if not being an nba rotation level player is some sort of personal failure
I’m with you…the dig on Bronny seems wildly misplaced. I’ve never seen even a rumor that Bronny wasn’t a very hard worker. Is that supposedly a thing? He’s only 21, only 6’2, and not an unbelievable athlete like his dad. He might never be even an average NBA player and real rotation guy, but it won’t be because he was lazy. If he did become a solid rotation guy, it would be more surprising than if he failed considering he doesn’t seem that physically talented and is short. No amount of hard work can overcome not having NBA talent, and it’s nonsense to take a dig at a 21 year old 2nd round pick’s work ethic for no reason.
That’s the dream aint it. Always cool to see someone who made it make sure there friends do too.
Knicks for clicks at age 40 is certainly an accomplishment
You’d think it would be over with at some point but nope, it’s a engagement tactic to get the Knicks supporters riled up to detract from whatever is mentioned.
Seriously. Fools still think this decade is the same as the previous.
Have you seen our defense without OG? Knicks would never do that trade. The Knicks offense is already elite. Adding a 40 year old LeBron who makes 50 plus million and misses a bunch of games makes no sense.
Thank you! These idiots need to keep Knicks out of their mouth.
If I’m Knicks management and the option is on the table, I’d do it.
Not for basketball reasons, but because the LeBron jersey would legit make me as an owner a guaranteed like half billion dollars v the 5-15% chance of the added billion for winning it all.
Hawks should trade Jalen Johnson for him then for the same logic
lol
Not on that contract
pro tip for max kellerman types: if you ask someone a question, on an interview show and also just in regular conversation, let them fucking finish a sentence. this was so infuriating to watch as someone who wanted to hear what rich paul had to say.
True, but he’s not a guest, they’re co-hosts. This is a new show with both of them.
It’s not an interview
Its not an interview it’s a conversation
Knicks, because you can’t trade him to the Lakers!
No team is trading a bunch of their assets for LeBron who is retiring in the next year or two
And LeBron isn’t going to just any situation either. It’s a 2 way street, which is the point lol
And also has sciatica and just missed a game with arthritis. Also, there’s no way Lebron, who built the entire final stage of his career to live in LA and be close to his family would go spend half a season playing somewhere random. The whole story is nonsense from every angle.
No team is giving up a ton for Lebron at this age on a contract that ends this summer, and no way is Lebron going to be okay with a trade anywhere but possibly Cleveland to end his career. These stories are so dumb.
And certainly not a 30 year old player or a 28 year old player that are essential to their core while being maxed out.
not many teams would be better moving 52.6m of salaries for LeBron James, in a legal trade. In particular the best teams.
OKC? No Denver? No Houston? FVV+DFS+Sheppard? Most likely yes Detroit? Harris+LeVert+Ivey? I don’t think so NYK? Towns? No SAS? Vassell+Barnes+Sochan? No
The issue is that you end up giving up too much depth for a guy too old to be trusted throughout the season.
Yall thinking too much. Lebron has a no trade clause. He’s not moving to okc or San antionio no matter how much they give up
Honestly I think for that trade we’d be better this year. Dont think it puts us on the OKC/Denver level tho and Ivey still has huge potential so I still wouldn’t do it since Lebron is likely only going to play 1 more year and our core should be entering their prime in the next couple years so its just a timeline mismatch. Also dont really think LA does that unless we include at least 1 pick and Im not sure a season of old ass Lebron is worth that for our situation
I am concerned abou the depth though. You are giving up 30 min of Tobias and 20 min of LeVert, who both have been shooting well this year.
Not a problema if you could trust LeBron for 30-33min every night, but I suspect you can’t.
Meh were playing 12 guys at the moment depth isnt really an issue. Stew is capable of playing the 4 some so a lot of the minutes that would open up would just mean more time for guys like Jenkins and beef Stew
The problem is that OKC is on an entirely different level than anyone else. They were quite bad by their standards in the playoffs last year and still squeaked their way to a title. Now they’re a year older and more experienced and playoff-tested, even more loaded, and currently 23-1 with a point differential that looks like a typo. I guess teams could make an all-in trade and hope for supreme luck against OKC like the Raptors title, but that’s a long shot. IMO, it just doesn’t make sense for any team to mortgage their future to win-now unless they really think they can beat OKC, and Lebron is too old enough at this point to move the needle the massive amount that needle would have to move.
Hell…I think OKC even complicates the Giannis trade market, and he’s more than a decade younger than Lebron.
Knicks don’t need LeBron. At all.
I mean, they’d be a lot better with him, but it doesn’t make sense with what they’d have to give up to get him.
Lebron would improve the Knicks by a lot lmao
LeBron fans still think it’s 2018 and it get sadder every year
Hey look at our boy throwing stones from a glass building.
How’s that offense working out for you when old man curry is out because of old man stuff?
You have to give something to get something. And any scenario where OG or KAT leave for Lebron does not improve the Knicks.
And Lebron doesn’t need the Knicks. He’s playing with a perennial MVP candidate and an All NBA-level guard right now. It’s the perfect situation on nights he doesn’t have it physically and can turn into a pure playmaker. Lebron to the Knicks is nonsense in every possible way.
I’m sure Rob Pelinka would love to get any kind of guaranteed return for a guy that’s about to be a UFA lol, but LeBron has a NTC and I seriously doubt there’s any front office in the NBA with a competitive roster who’s willing to give up a haul and match salaries for 40 year-old Bron with half a season left on a $50M deal
I know Knicks for clicks and all that lol but seriously, the idea that NY would give up assets for him rn is pretty absurd in my eyes, they have next to no draft capital and they have a talented roster that’s made it a round further in the playoffs for each year the core has been together. Anunoby is worth more to them than LeBron rn objectively, I seriously can’t see a scenario in which this trade happens and the Knicks aren’t both getting worse and getting a horrible deal.
Max aged gracefully
Crazy that Rich Paul just really isn’t good at this podcast thing.
Lebron would not make us any better
what is this conversation?
They started a podcast together lol and this is a snippet from the first episode.
Lebron makes every single team better as long as you don’t consider what they’d have to lose in order to get him
LMAO “29 other teams”
No leflop does.not.make the Knicks better unless he signs for the min
Wtf is that set lol?
Why are we interested in a rich Paul podcast. He’s nothing but a LeDiddy mouthpiece.
Lakers should trade LeBron for Antetokounmpo. Thanasis, not Giannis.
Lebron wouldn’t make the Knicks better. Stop it.
Lebron wouldn’t make OKC better
This is how teams die, trading for someone over 40 is braindead
Ain’t nobody trading for LeBron. Knicks definitely don’t need him and he already got Mike Brown fired once.
Rich Paul freudian slip lol
I think it’s just for attention. There’s no way Lebron would move all the way across the country just to play for the Knicks for a few months. I don’t think Rich Paul really believes that, and I don’t think the Lakers really believe it. But it’s Paul’s job to at least float it so they have at least some kind of (probably fake) leverage when negotiating with the Lakers if Lebron wants a retirement tour season next year.
[deleted]
Pelicans won’t make that mistake again
Not basketball-related, but I wonder why they chose those mic placements.
I’d love to see him win another ring but he’s not leaving LA
Rich Paul is such a funny name.
max kellerman is another in a long line of ex espn clowns
Stupid ass chat
Ummm…no disrespect to a legend but is he really worth KAT right now?
Just retire already
I’m just gonna say it. If LeBron makes 29 other teams better, could we please have a turn with the LeBron?
I know LeBron wants that Kobe tour.
Dude, Lebron looks the happiest I’ve ever seen him. AR, Luka, Lebron, and Ayton have built an insane chemistry.
Now max woulda been salty if Rich got up and left the moment he called LeBron 100
This is such a stupid question where is he going to go no one’s going to trade to match his 50 million dollar contract when he’s only sign for a year
I see why SAS didn’t want to work with him anymore.
At $50 mil+ per year? Tough to find another team interested in an almost 41 year old Lebron
You’re from New York is the dead giveaway here
I like Max and his boxing work. But his style of generalized, thinking out loud pondering about nonsense doesn’t work in the current environment. Which is why he hasn’t been on the air for so long. But I guess the “I’ll ask stupid questions to the guy trying to put my clients in a good light” might work for him.
what platform or podcast is Max doing this interview on?
LeBron - Bronny - Knecht for OG - Hart
Just saying it works out salary wise. No idea why the Knicks would do that but I’d be ecstatic as a Lakers fan lol
Jesus, does he let people talk? Christ.
I could see him going to Miami, that’s where old folks go to retire
This set is wild.
I geniuniely dont believe the knicks could put together a trade package for lebron james that would make them a better team… they would straight up get worse..
Why tf is an agent being interviewed? What PR BS is this?
This is literally a fake quote, Rich Paul doesn’t say this in the video
imagine Jalen kat and bron, my uncle would drop 50 on that team
there is not a single real knicks fan that actually wants lebron to join this team. I wouldn’t even sign him if he was a free agent. That ship has sailed and he has baggage. Not taking away from the goat.. it just doesn’t match up with this knicks era. its almost 2026 and these oldheads still talking knicks for clicks like its the 2010s. Times have changed people.
Lebron would only move to the Clippers.
Max kellerman is so annoying to listen to these days. His terence crawford vs canelo alverez commentating was so painfully bad too
These questions are so fucking dumb. They acting like Lakers aren’t contenders, which they are….
“Does he make a team better” isn’t the question, its “does he make a team better after they match $53mil in salary”.
42 yo LeBron would not make the Thunder better…
max is great but this was 90% him leading the convo and cutting rich paul off after he got some semblance of a “yes” so i will not be watching him interview anyone again
LMAO, LeBron actually has a chance to win a championship were he isn’t the first option, carrying for majority of the playoffs. There’s no chance he’s gonna leave LA. That’s not even including having to leave his family and the house he had built.
Same Max Kellerman that said Kawhi is better than Kobe
I can confidently say at this stage LeBron would turn the Knicks back into the lolKnicks.
