That wasn’t a “moment.” It’s a game worn jersey by a potential future hall of famer. How is it a “waste” to frame/preserve it? A waste of what? Certainly not a waste of monetary value, that’s for sure.

I wouldn’t, but if you do I would do it on cold water and air dry it so the numbers and lettering don’t curl.
Why would it lose value washed?
Probably the same reason why you can sell bathwater.
It’s weird lol but with a game worn jersey for example the sweat, the original smell, any stains etc all go into the value of the jersey. If you remove things like this because you washed it, it will lose its game worn value.

I was impressed that he bothered to do the fan friendly thing in that particular moment. It weighs against some of my other opinions about the man.
He’s said he tries to do that as much as he can because he remembers being in the nosebleeds in Atlanta unable to get KD’s jersey so he wants to give that experience to other kids.
