Dylan Harper with a new career-high of 22 PTS along with the go-ahead bucket.
Dylan Harper finishes with 22 PTS, 3 REB, and 6 AST.
Also scored the go-ahead bucket with his off-hand too.
His ability to get to the rim and finish is really unbelievable. Probably the hardest and most valuable skill and he’s already elite
Feels like a mix of Parker and Ginobili. Moves more like Ginobili with Parker like ability to score in the paint (albeit not as small as Parker).
Manu’s size and passing instincts (and left handedness!), Parker’s finishing ability. Unreal combo of skills honestly
He’s a star in the making
Honestly believe he’d average 20ppg if he got the 30+ mins other rookies do
No he wouldn’t. Most rookies playing 30+mins aren’t averaging 20pts because these long games are taxing
I think he’s just that good
ok, 19 points per game then
Outside of one game. He’s scored pretty effortlessly. And with minimal minutes and usually playing within the flow of the game instead of having things run through him.
I don’t think it’s hard to imagine him averaging 20 on a team like Washington, even if his field goal percentage would obviously go down in a longer game and is a more primary focal point. He’s pretty much unstoppable going to the rim even when teams try to double him or put elite Defenders on him
Last of my checked, he led the league frequency of rim attempts for a guard. Very little of his offense is created by his teammates eother It’s pretty much him just cooking out there And creating baskets for himself
He’s a ridiculously special player.
One of the best guard prospects of the last 20 years if you ask me
I honestly have 0 doubt that he’s an incredible incredible talent. The issue comes down to how tiring it is to play 30+ mins, with the B2B and the traveling. It just takes a toll on every single player- especially rookies that aren’t used to the nba pace
Like I’m pretty sure that the last guard to average 20pts during their rookie year was Luka. And he’s just a one of kind that also happened to have had the chance of playing for Real Madrid prior to the nba.
Nothing like dumbass gms making positional log jams
We didn’t expect to get the 2nd pick when we traded for Fox. And after we did get lucky in the lottery it made sense to draft the best player available
You did max him though and everyone knew it was a mistake. Fuck these dirt bag agents.
Fox couldn’t play next to derozan. Couldn’t play next to hali. And he hasn’t looked great next to Harper.
This is all on career best shooting so far for you guys so expect those numbers to drop.
He’s been great next to Harper wym?
Yes but long term you don’t want a guy with an mvp ceiling only getting 20-25 minutes per game off the bench
True, and I’m not sure how it’ll be addressed in the future if he continues to progress.
But the FO will have a bit of time to evaluate before they have to start making the tougher decisions.
Yeah it won’t be this season. Unfortunately I think it’ll stop Harper from winning ROY
Was garbage today. Absolute garbage
yeah he was, but that’s not him usually
Sure. But he’s been playing at a high All-Star level all season. The Spurs would likely be under 500 without him right now and having to really ramp up Victor once he returns.
Plus both him and Harper have looked ridiculously good with each other. Fox has actually been playing off ball really well next to him
I just don’t get why people are acting like. There’s some kind of Doom and gloom situation going on over there. San Antonio absolutely would not be a a dark horse Contender the next few years if they were relying solely on Castle and Harper who are just not ready yet, Victor’s already good enough to be the primary option on a title contending team
Fox is good enough to be the second best player on this group
And their books are clean enough that there’s really no long-term risk or issue with the fox contract
Castle absolutely has the potential to play as a wing and is there already started to show flashes of that before he got hurt
The three of them playing together looks perfectly fine if not, potentially genuinely complementary
Bad game sure, but since Victors been out? 27/4/7 on 49/39/82 efficiency with 2 steals a game in 10 games.
Make sure to get your blood pressured checked with all that salt in your system brother.
Not good enough for a max contract , not in todays league ran by giants
Least miserable Kings fan
Only kings player that had ever left and done anything nice was isiah Thomas. This franchise has not been a talent factory unlike what this sub tries to tell you
Besides haliburton who was already good and fox wanted him gone
I feel like Fox will get traded sooner rather than later, Harper Castle Wemby could rule the league for a decade
Nobody wants fox on a max. They’ll have to bleed assets
Fox has been leading the Spurs to a top seed this season with Wemby out (and without Castle and Harper for a while). He’s definitely a positive contract with how he’s been playing, not sure why you think he isn’t aside from being biased against your former player.
Maybe I know fox better than you do.small pg is worst position to max and especially a non all star. Provides no defensive versatility.
Has never proven he can play with other ball dominant players and has an iffy jump shot
Fox is a great player just doesn’t fit long term, someone will want him
Love to see a fellow Filipino ball out. I’m going to be so insufferable if he becomes a star.
Goodbye Jalen Green, hello Dylan Harper!
Jalen Green has disappointed me too much. I’m ready for the Harper era
When^
so true
Harper signing a deal with Jollibee soon enough
Don’t threaten me with a good time
BAYANG MAGILIW
He was the 2nd pick for a reason. Despite playing significantly less minutes than other top rookies, he’s still right up there in production and a few years from now he will be regarded as one of the best from the class if not then the best
he is going to be something special . the confidence and the maturity harper has at young is such rare trait for a young point guard along with high basketball iq . glad I copped a harper spurs fiesta jersey.
Really really nice bounce back game from the stinker he put up against the Cavs. For being only 19 years old he is just so fluid when driving into the paint. Very reminiscent of long haired Manu
Spurs future looking bright

First of all how dare you
He doesn’t have a troublesome uncle
