I would take that in a heartbeat but Pels would expect way more than that—the rumored expectation from them in a return for Murphy was something like a solid vet (presumably at least more Barnes/KJ level than Olynyk but they’d probably start negotiations asking for Vassell), a promising young prospect (they’d probably insist on Bryant over Sochan), and 3-4 firsts. Which, as much as I love Trey for our team, is just too much depth/future flexibility for us to give up. Pels simply are not motivated sellers right now so they’re willing to wait and hope for a Bridges-like return.
