Damn bars
I want people to grasp that we really let a team win 68 games, win the championship then come out the gates better.
I want people to understand we let a team get SGA/J Dub/Chet/Caruso/Wallace/Dort/Williams/Joe/Mitchell/Wiggins…
Hear me when I say this… They have two lottery picks who won’t play this season, they have the 26’ clips pick, the 27’ clips pick and the 28’ spurs pick. Dynasty.
We can possibly field an entire 5 man lineup of rookie lottery picks next season.
We could also be charitable and trade J Dub for MPJ. Just an idea.
Mf thinks he’s part of the team
You right, We shouldn’t have let you cook
It’s the Denver and Pacers series 7 game series that helped them get better. They had to develop an extra gear that they can turn on at will now and I think if they cruised through the playoffs last year they wouldn’t have that.
From the outside looking in last year felt like the year you guys lost due to inexperience. And then this year would be the year you won, but with a dude like Red Auerbach/Jerry West/Pat Riley/Sam Presti I suppose you’re always ahead of schedule
I’m still hopeful that post-chemo Topic sees the floor this year
That would be astounding.
I mean at least there’s precedent for it, Nene did it back in the day.
Obviously I just hope he has a cancer free life, don’t even need to say that.
But it wouldn’t be a huge shock to see him play in February or so.
I didn’t know Nene had cancer, that’s good that he was able to come back the same season as getting chemo. I know for just regular people chemo is very hard on your body but I can see where it could have an even larger effect on someone whose work is entirely about their physical ability and it being hard to bounce back and be in game shape during the same year as having chemo ravage your body and not be able to work out like you could. Especially for Topic who was already coming off of an injury last year
Didn’t only have cancer but had the same type of cancer.
Luckily the recovery process for testicular cancer is very different compared to other types, close to 100 percent even if it’s caught early.
There are some footballers like Arjen Robben who also had it early on and then had long and healthy careers.
We’ll see how things go for Nikola.
Every team needs to tank against the clips. wtf, they all need to talk this out and just freaking rest the starters when going against LAC.
This but unironically, teams should always tank against the Clippers whenever they’re part of a back to back and need to rest their stars anyways
You didn’t want to let people know it’s all thanks to the Clippers
Clippers are going to be why Wemby doesn’t make a finals until he’s 30
Our picks are getting ball cancer from sitting around on them so much.
How do they have the 28 spurs pick? First time im hearing about that. Spurs can swap with Boston that year
JDub continues to look better and better. Hopefully in the next week or two, his 3ball will be back to normal
What the hell is even gonna stop us when bro is 100%
The trailblazers
I fear no man
But that thing… It scares me
Cut away to Avdija at the FT line
Lillard is on the bench. We can forget all about that bad shot… please… oh god the nightmares.
we wouldn’t be where we are without that shot, I’m grateful
When this team gets healthy
PJ Washington
Literally, nothing.
You guys are gunna break the wins record
He’s our best player at pushing the pace too. I’m so excited to watch him, an improved Caso, and Ajay light it up.
Nice to see Jdub back
25 and 25 from your number 2 and 3 is pretty damn balanced
“as everything should be”-Thanos
Chet will be all-nba second team and the league DPOY
I hope so. Dude deserves it. Hes worked so hard to take the leap and worked back from 2 huge injuries and hes only been in the league for what? This’ll be 4 years. Technicslly his 3rd since he missed his entire rookie season.
Asterisk DPOYs the last 3 years.
Being healthy is part of being great
You can’t defend the rim when you’re not on the court
r/nba users and their asterisks like it actually matters LMAO
Keep clutching on those asterisks my boy, maybe one day it’ll matter
No Giannis no problem
The two best players in their class
Man when’s the last time a homegrown team has looked this dominant? The Spurs?
The Warriors were pretty homegrown before Durant joined up right?
Yeah it’s true the 73-9 Warriors did look good. Too bad we didn’t get to see more.
15-16 spurs with their 1 home loss was ridiculous. Right behind the warriors that year. I guess you could say LMA wasn’t home grown but basically the rest of the squad was
The Pistons when Ivey is back to full speed :)
Warming up
lol ez game
There was a OKC fan here that said that OKC don’t have any offense outside of Shai.
It’s a very curious thing about humans where if you like something. You delude yourself into thinking mad shit to boost what you like. Even though it is so obviously not true.
People were saying we overpaid for Chet signing him to the max btw. Some people here just be saying shit and thinking they’re right
The wizards could blow out the jazz
I mean it was harder for them to generate O without Shai because they don’t really have more point guards rn. They have a ton of shooting guards on the roster and Shai. J Dub being back means they have another guy who can run point and the O gets a lot better when Shai is out or injured. Otherwise you have a ton of play finishers who are okay at passing but can’t really manipulate the D to create advantages and the offense is really rough
The reason why Shai isn’t the MVP.
Because the Jazz are terrible?
Facts
So then Jokic isn’t the MVP either right? Aaron Gordon and Jamal Murray have both scored 50 this year.
