apart from the indy game, most of their wins in the past 2 or 3 weeks have been by 9+ pts

Denver has the 2nd or 3rd best net rating in the league, so by that metric the whole league is scraping by.

That’s kind of how they’ve always been in the regular season with Jokic. They have never really figured out how to blowout terrible teams.

It’s a mathematically predictable result of the weird combination of one of the best ORTG ever and terrible DRTG.

The Nuggets’ offense is basically unstoppable, so they’re scoring 120+ points per game almost regardless of how good or bad the defense is.

But their defense being so bad benefits bad teams more than it does good teams. Good teams are already scoring near their ceiling the same way the Nuggets are, but bad teams have career nights vs the Nuggets bad defense because they can also score near their ceiling for once.

This means all Nuggets games are close.

Their wins have been fine, it just looks bad because they’ve been shaky at home and their defense has been bad without their two best defenders in their starting lineup.

This is maybe the worst season Ive seen in at least 10 years talent wise.

The east is ass and the west has like 4 decent teams and 2 chip contenders.

The Rockets are considerably better than the Lakers and are with the Nuggets and Knicks

It is 60 win pace, and they are surviving with 2 key starters out. I think 55-60 is reasonable. That said, every Nuggets game is a nailbiter. I also watch all the Thunder games, and I much prefer the relaxing experience that provides.

The main issue is that they are going through the easy part of their schedule right now. Their schedule gets a lot rougher starting in Feb.

Jokic has yet to sit any games and Murray has only sat 1. If they get their act together on the home games then maybe 60 is possible but the lack of effort on a night to night basis will probably cost them.

Yeah he’s made a mini jump offensively (while also feasting off that Jokic cutting boost). But he’s probably outta here next season since we’ve already committed money to Braun.

He played like garbage to start the seaon when he was on the bench. I do prefer him starting at SG to Braun due to his 3pt shooting but if you can’t play well off the bench then you probably should be a starting player. His defense (in my opinion) has fell of a cliff since he entered the starting lineup and there is a huge difference in his effort.

I think Boston should sink into the Atlantic.

But we can’t all get what we want.
