After today, Mitchell Robinson is currently averaging 9.4 offensive rebounds per 36 minutes, by far the best mark in NBA history. He’s also shooting 17.6% from the free throw line, by far the worst mark in NBA history.
Unique season for sure–he’s actually unlikely to shoot enough free throws to qualify for any kind of official record, but I’d imagine that this has to be the lowest number for a guy playing actual rotation minutes. The rebounding, though, is even more ridiculous: if he keeps this up and plays enough games to qualify (which he’s on pace to do), he’d lead in that stat by 1.4 whole offensive boards (beating Clint Capela’s 8.0, which is also from this season). Mitch is a savant on the glass, sucks that he has the hands of an arthritic grandma
