I’ve always been under the impression that FT% and 3p% are at least somewhat correlated so fixing his mechanics to become better at one gives you an improvement to the other “for free”.

For Westbrook the changes he had to make in his routine because of the new FT rule really had an impact on his %. He was like 82% before the change of the rules and like 68% after that (He couldn’t go back to mid court anymore because of it)

I remember the season it happened was my last playing Fantasy, finals week h2h with a guy and I am willing here comes \(1200 to my pocket baby!. I'm ahead in 5 CAT's and decide to bench JJ redick and Blake Griffin as I don't want to hurt my FT% otherwise I'm locked in and winning! Westbrook shoots like 18/20 or 22/25 for FT. I lost the FT% CAT by the fifth FUCKING decimal point and JJ shot like 7/7 from FT that night too. Got 2nd and walked away with \)500 but still fucking hurt. Next season Westbrick shot like 63% from FT.
