Unwatchable and uninteresting
It was very intentional by Mazzula that theyād rather give up fouls than allow Reaves to get comfortable anywhere on the floor. There were some weak calls tonight but he was generally catching players out of position in ways that will almost always get a whistle.

I know the Lakers were missing players but it always feels good to destroy the Lakers. Fuck them and fuck the refs for protecting this franchise. Also, I hope we boo the shit out of LeBron when he does his retirement tour.
We’re missing TATUM. I don’t care who they’re missing, we are at a disadvantage.
Iād say missing Luka and Tatum is about equal for these teams. I guess theyāre more disadvantaged because no LeBron but we wouldāve wiped the floor with them even if he was playing.
Maybe I’m oversimplyfing it a little, both teams lost a guy who’s been the center of their offense, but ours is also arguably the best defender on the team. I see that as a greater loss, I guess it depends on the pov.

I’ve been pretty optimistic about this team, but when Queta got hurt right as we were about to start this tough stretch, I definitely assumed we were due for a rough stretch that would have people panicking.
They’ve done so well to exceed pretty much everyone’s expectations so far.
I wanted to see us either contend or use the season to develop youth. I feared we were set up to do neither. Ā Turns out, we are doing both. Ā Team looks good and can be a legit threat if Tatum returns. Meanwhile, watching Walsh and Hugo make strides is very fun. I had very low expectations for both, but they look like legit prospects.Ā
