Salary’s wouldn’t match and Hugo has shown a lot of playmaking ability on defense. With him on a rookie contract and team control for the next 3-4 seasons after this one it doesn’t make sense to trade him. You also have to remember he’s only 19 and still pretty raw so his offensive game could still develop nicely.

Zubac was a top 15 player in the NBA last year according to PER/LEBRON. Clippers are about to do a fire sale and the contract is perfectly attainable with our current roster.
