OKC is 21 -1 with JDub missing most of the games. Barring anymore injuries they’re on pace to repeat. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it

OKC adding Giannis is a risk to their perfect team chemistry. They would be more likely to be worse than better. I get Giannis is a great talent, but chemistry is underrated.

We can make it work this year without breaking the 1st Apron. iHart/Dort + 4 2026 FRPs (Not the Clippers pick).

However, it would have to be a 1 year rental or we’d have to break up Chet/JDub/SGA + a lot of our depth after this season to keep Giannis.

That’s why I don’t think it’s worth it.

I think picks would be the best for Bucks. Just start fresh. Why get someone close to being an all star. That all star would just be pissed about wasting their talent there. The only reason to go for an all star would be to flip it to more picks. Bucks should absolutely go the OKC route on this one. It’s really the best strategy for small market team.

The Kawhi trade didn’t gut the Raptors. The spurs got DeRozan, Poertl, and a 1st. Similarly, I don’t think a team guts their roster/picks for a 1.5 year Giannis rental if he’s intent on ending up on the Knicks regardless.
