Normally I’m not as enthused about beating up on tanking teams like the Knicks did with Charlotte tonight but it’s so much sweeter with all of the other Eastern Conference competitors losing the way they did.
Pistons lose to Bucks without Giannis, Cavs lose to Portland, Magic lose to Spurs, Hawks lose to Clips, Bulls lose to Nets, Heat lose to Mavs.
They all lost to either bad teams or West Coast teams tonight so no one else moved up the standings in the East but the Knicks. Fantastic sports day !

Similarly I remember being like “the Bucks still can’t win with this team, their supporting cast is terrible” after their great start and Bucks fans were going nuts, like “oh where are all the redditors who thought this team wouldn’t be great”, “but I thought Giannis was going to leave this team, what happened”, and here we are. Maybe we need to dial it down until we are about 20-30 games in. Even your team, its incredible, they should repeat this season, but some people are like “idk how this team will lose any game, they could legit get 74+ wins” and its like maybe, but it doesn’t work like that. The schedule will get tougher, there will be off-days, and at some point OKC probably will relax a little bit before the playoffs instead of going for the record.
