KPJ is just really fucking good at basketball. His scoring, defense and passing is instrumental. Of course (and for good reason) people won’t acknowledge that. He and Rollins are a very solid backcourt. Whichever way we go, we gotta keep these two together (and my boy Dairy Bird), even if only for the entertainment factor.

Out of curiosity, how much do you actually know about the situation with KPJ? Have you looked into it at all or have you just heard that he’s a woman beater? I can’t say for sure that he didn’t do anything wrong, but if you do some research you’ll find that his situation was very much not cut and dry. The victim herself was saying the allegations were false. Some people believe she’s lying to protect him which could be the case, but it also could not be. You just seem very gung ho about this so I’m wondering what you’ve actually looked into about it

Yep that’s a very fair point and very true. However, I think this case is a little different considering the spotlight/media attention. Also the fact that they broke up and yet she was still denying everything, a lot of times DV victims defend the person because they stay with them. She also seemed very fired up about what was being reported moreso than I’d expect someone who was lying

Pretty much yeah. Although they discovered that one of the significant injuries she had that they were trying to charge KPJ for was not actually caused by him and was an injury she already had, and then of course the gf denied him assaulting her at all and said that she was bruised from a fall. Which of course, is a common thing to say when trying to hide DV, but could be true.

Overall, I get it if people know the context and think he assaulted her and don’t like him because of it, but it rubs me the wrong way a bit when people treat it like an absolute certainty when the reality is that no one actually knows what happened besides the two of them. Also the fact that many people, like OP, probably don’t know any of this context and just go around shouting about him being a woman beater just because they heard it from others annoys me because if he truly is innocent, that’s a really shitty thing to do
