I think it’s way more likely that they ask Giannis for a short list of teams. Shows the appropriate amount of respect but he also understands it’s a business and the FO needs breathing room to make a deal.

The Knicks don’t have enough assets that a team blowing it up would want. They have assets for contenders.

I don’t see why people wanna pair Brunson and Giannis so badly when the fit isn’t perfect. We saw him and Dame look mediocre. There’s no two-man game between them, just your turn my turn.

If its KAT, Giannis gets his stretch 5 and you can stack a defensive lineup 1-4 around him. Especially with a guy like OG. Even offensively KAT works best attacking closeouts.

Not really, he has 1.5 years left and unless the knicks finds a lot of picks and/or good young players for kat/og, even a “rental package” from any other team with actual assets would be a way better offer than what the knicks have now.

They dont control their picks until 2031. And they are not gonna tank for 5 years without their picks just to do giannis a solid.
