It’s the physical little guys. They’re rare, but they surprise defenders and can throw them off a bit. I don’t think the play style is sustainable for a whole game but it allows spark players to thrive in short bursts. TJ McConnell is probably his best comparison. Worse defender but is probably a better shooter
My favorite fun fact about Pat Spencer is that he was technically a one-and-done prospect out of college

I watch a fair bit of warriors games as a bay area local. And I’ve said this like 5 tines this season and last: Pat Spencer is the only player on this team (maybe besides steph) who gives a fuck regardless of score. He is an absolute dog who consistently makes plays. Draymond, Jimmy, Kuminga etc are all so willing to call it as soon as they hit a little adversity. But not ole Pat Spencer. Anyway, he should have a nice nba career based purely off hustle and grit.
