Seems like SGA get rewarded for being scrawny and intentional and Ant gets penalized for being strong.

He’s become smarter with better shot selection (!), 10% better at finishing at the rim (!!), a better passer and more efficient. Old Ant would have hit a contested stepback 3 on the last play in regulation. 24-25 Ant decided to take it to the hole and score a quick 2.
If it weren’t for his 5 point, 3 minute injury game that is completely tanking his averages, he’d be listed as 31+ PPG.
He improves every year and this might be the best all around improvement I’ve seen so far. Super exciting

People always forget that Ant is U25 yrs old. And he is arguably the Best SG in the league. (With Mitchell and Booker)
When people talk about him they tend to compare him to players like 3-4 years older, because he plays closer to them than others his age
This. Ant’s peers are supposed to be guys like Jalen Green or Tyrese Maxey but these past 2 seasons he’s been compared to SGA, Luka, and Tatum.

The pelicans were shooting 65% from three at the end of regulation. Hard to beat any team when that’s the shooting they are getting
Whatever game plan they had in place was clearly centered around Zion and he was declared out last minute, Alvarado had 3 or 4 threes bounce in like Kawhi G7 shots, and also they were very disengaged on defense for the first half. Win is a win
