Point Sochan was so sinful
It felt like everytime he got the ball posted up mid paint his hook shot was unguardable, and he made it look so effortless.
He is definitely getting his offensive game back from college, tbf they missused him last year all season, probably part of the reason why their previous coach got kicked. His footwork looks better, his hands are good, I wonder what his ceiling is since he didn’t play organized basketball for long.

People complained about him getting too many calls in college but if you go back and watch the games there are more missed no-calls than soft fouls. Hopefully he gets some kind of star whistle in the league.

He started last year on a wonky ankle, for a coach who was scrambling to save his job and used him completely incorrectly, and he was still pretty good

His defense is really good this season, shocked me to see him have a higher def epm than Wemby this season lol
Kinda too bad that he got too many fouls to quickly in this game, otherwise the impact would have been even more crazy
Wemby started off slow on offense but he started to heat up before getting hurt

He should win a DPOY award one day
When that Wemby fatigue sets in he’ll get it.
I hope they both stay healthy enough to compete for it for many years

Defensively he’s almost a whole point above the rest. He’s had good luck with competition thus far, but if he keeps this up… My only concern is that his impact is hard to acknowledge from a casual standpoint. You can see it when you watch, but his gravity is so extreme that he misses out on blocks because players simply refuse to drive if he’s there.

Dude hit Kornet in the face like 4 times, even got blocked once and somehow drew a foul but he was solid. That said it does seem like it’s fairly easy to get under his skin like his scuffle pulling Sochan down. He is super good but why does Edey take it so personally when someone tries to rip the ball out of his hands lol. Once he gets a vet to mentor him it will unlock more of his game

Yeah I was suprised both of the previous fouls on Edey wernt enough to overturn regardless of Edey committing the fouls afterwards
He’s not playable in the playoffs but great regular season minutes eater I guess
