His first few games he was looking great. He’s had a couple of pretty good games but seems to be feeling things out since the hot start. He’s been rebounding really well and of course, the D is still pretty strong.

I think he’s gonna pan out for sure.

He’s too fast for guys his size and plays bully ball with guards, its he doesn’t even exaggerat or flop or even jump into contact, he literally jusy attacks the rim and defenders are to slow or to weak to get in front of him or stand their ground. The mostly end up reaching in with theor arms and he makes them pay by going right through their arms

I see a lot of opponents fan base complaining but idk like to see someone come with some receipts of some plays that he gets a whistle on thats not actually a foul. It’s not like he plays like SGA or Trae Young or one of those soft ft baiters

Yeah it’s unfortunate Splitter took our PGs to the back and bashed their legs with a baseball bat. I don’t think Billups would have done that.

Darko Ball >> Brandon Ball

I think it’s a combination of things. First Darko is clearly telling them to look for that and hunt the BI ISO. Second Scottie can be a bit passive at times and doesn’t always assert himself. Third IQ seems to not pass a ton to Scottie throughout games and tends to look for his shot more often or just try and run the play the coach calls as he isn’t a natural PG. I think that plus no RJ has what lead to such stagnant and slow clutch time offence

Almost every team in the history of basketball goes to isolations in late game situations. You want to control the possession, every pass is an opportunity for a mistake the other team can capitalize on. At the end of the game when people are more focused, playing harder, grabbing and fouling without calls, you want to limit the risks. So you give it to your top players and run simple actions like a ball screen or isolate at their spots.

I mean Barnes was very timid in his first year as well. CMB seems to be more of a facilitator on offence. I haven’t seen his post-up game yet so maybe that’s still under development.
