He’s actually been fantastic for us and is shooting over 40% from 3 and facilitating well. His team defense is solid too he just gets blown by 1on1. Honestly he’s been way way better than he was last year

He’s been great in his time in phoenix. He’s also an underrated playmaker. Defensively he tries to funnel drives into the big man too much. Outside of that He’s not bad defensively.

I don’t watch Raptor games, so don’t know for sure, but it can be a misleading stat based on how teams setup their defense. A hire blow by rate may be made up with good shot blockers and allow the on ball defender be more aggressive.

The 04 Pistons lived on that strategy.

He has the body of a modern power forward, basically. At least a big wing.

The way I see it, the PTs per blowby says more about your help/interior defender. I don’t think Harden, for example, is recovering defensively after being blown by. I think the low PPP is because Zubac is the backline. I think Hart’s being high is because his backline (for most of the games so far this season) has been KAT.

it’s a flawed stat because it depends on the team’s defensive scheme. Scottie Barnes and Jalen Johnson are also there and they’re both good defenders
