Man you know a Spo team is always going to bring it, but I thought they were going to go through some dark times before Herro came back that pretty guaranteed their regular season ceiling would be play-in. I really expect them then to hold. Top 4 seed now barring some more bad injury luck.

Really hope we see them in a series this post season, that will hit like crack.

With Davion Mitchell shining in the true point guard position (7.8 assists per game, leading the league in assist-to-turnover ratio), I think letting Tyler focus on scoring while being a secondary playmaker at most — much like the 6MoY season when the Heat had a productive Kyle Lowry — will be the best way to utilize him.

Jaquez is also coming off the bench with an additional 5.3 assists per game, so this team has no shortage of players comfortable with the ball in their hands.

Yeah Herro has always been a scoring guard. If Spo needs to put him into a point guard type roll then that means theirs issues with roster construction

Heat are in a weird-ish spot with how good Powell and Davion have been that Herro can be used but a bigger need is PF that could pair with Bam or Ware.

A trade that could help both teams is McDaniels on the Wolves. Heat get an athletic frontcourt player who can pair with Bam or Ware. Wolves get an amazing shooter that can pair with Edwards and be helped by Goberts paint defense.

Nah. We’ll figure it out. The team only had Bam as a good big for years, waiting for a good trade deal or the offseason, or someone from the g league is not out of the question. Besides, it’s not like we’re losing games. Giving away one of our best shot creators in the regular season doesn’t bode well for playoffs success either.
