The Bucks are now 2-9 in their last 11 games with the two wins being against the Nets and Hornets
Source
One of the most diabolical rosters I’ve seen around a superstar in their prime
Myles Turner is worse than I thought. Shoutout Bagley for dominating him
He was a Haliburton merchant :’(
They need a lot better PG play for the Bucks. A backup PG like McConnel would do wonders (though hell…last years McConnel might be a starter for the Bucks this season).
pacers fans weren’t just hating when we were saying this guy can’t be a second scoring option and he doesn’t rebound
The inability to rebound is just mind blowing
I was thinking the same…this is the guy you brought in to help keep giannis?
They were lucky to even get him lol
You are an OKC fan and didn’t know Turner could be this bad some nights?
He had one game in the Finals with a positive box plus/minus, and that was a game he shot 1-9. He played 30+ minutes once.
He is simply no better than an average starting center in the league the Bucks overpaid to take from the Pacers. They get to enjoy him for 3 more seasons after this one.
Eh, wasn’t an overpay. Not with the present salary cap.
He is an average center, but with a unique skillset of shotblocking, 3pt range, rim protection and decent mobility. Only other center with that same skillset, but better, I think is Wemby.
Other parts of his game, are below starting center caliber.
So while he isnt a center you build a system around, he is a unique center on an affordable contract that can solve problems some teams have.
There’s actually no way Giannis is still a buck by march. Like there’s just no way.
No way to trade him. Who has the assets to trade and still remain competitive?
76ers got PG at 51mil, 2028 Clippers and GSW picks, 2029 Clippers pick (+ a lot more future first round picks) and bunch of young guys lol
They’re not taking on PGs horrible contract. You’re gonna need a couple picks to get off that one, that’s before talking about Giannis’ value
Those picks tho
PG contract negates about 2 FRPs
If the Bucks hire Nico I am positive he can get you guys a deal.
What if, just what if OKC said fine, have JDub and all the picks? I guess salary will not match. But thats scary!
OKC
Hawks? We have your pick and could trade our future picks + Risacher
I would honestly probably take KP+ZR+Picks at this point.
Getting our picks back and tanking is probably the best path forward at this point as sacrilegious as it sounds.
Sam Presti: Hello Bucks, might I interest you in some Clippers 1st rnd picks?
Knicks would happily trade KAT and another player not named Brunson for him
I think even the most diehard bucks fan can see that he’s probably getting traded, but there’s very little incentive to do so in season when way more teams will have flexibility to get in on the bidding in the summer.
Maybe I’ll be wrong, but I really think he’ll stick through the season and ask out in the offseason
0 chance unless he doesnt care about winning anymore by march
The Giannis & Brunson combo is gonna hit different
They went after bridges instead.
hopefully different from the kat & brunson combo
With what trade assets?
feel bad for Giannis
The team made too many desperate big moves to keep him. Giannis probably signed off on the Middleton for Kuzma trade that put the nail in the coffin
hopefully Milwaukee somehow gets their act together with 0 assets or he ends up somewhere he can still compete, would be lame if he was stuck in purgatory for the remainder of his prime
Kevin porter Jr played great too I didnt watch why did yall lose
When you let Marvin Double Jump Bagley put up an efficient 22 on you, you’re cooked.
The way we lose every game. We lose the math on field goal attempts, rebounds, turnovers, free throws…
Shams told yall
Giannis gone
lol shams
I keep hearing about the Bucks’ roster, but I think the Bucks do have good players. Myles Turner, Ryan Rollins, Kevin Porter Jr., Kyle Kuzma, AJ Green… these are good NBA players. It’s not a superteam; it’s not even a great team. But it’s a team that, in my opinion, should be able to win more than they lose as the supporting cast for one of the greatest players of all time. If they’re not getting it done against a team like the Wizards, I think it’s time to look hard at coaching.
they really arent good players. they are rotation caliber players, but most aren’t even a starting caliber player for a playoff team.
Turner is a starting caliber player, but the others? eesh.
Disagree. KPJ has averaged 20 in a season, Kuz has been an important rotation piece on a championship team, AJ is legit one of the best shooters in the league, and Rollins has been amazing so far this year on both sides of the ball. Like I said, that doesn’t make a great team, and it definitely doesn’t make a contending team, but it should be a team that wins more than it loses alongside Giannis, especially in this weak Eastern Conference.
They certainly shouldn’t be losing to the Wizards, who have one player who would start on the Bucks right now. This runs deeper than the roster.
The definitively have a fine roster and they’re even 1st in 3 point percentage showing how well it’s tailored to Giannis’s game, but they’re last in OREB, give up the 6th most rebounds per game as well as last in FT% and 29th in FTR
For how much damage they do to teams beyond the arc, they give it right back up by having a team that can’t rebound on either side of the court, force turnovers, or consistently get to and make free throws which I don’t think any coach can fix, just the glaring downsides of the roster
Ngl, if Ryan Kalkbrenner on the hornets went to Milwaukee for the second hornets game that went to OT (skipped to stay home with his new baby), hornets win that one too
109 milly well spent cheese brain.
Tyrese is currently on the bench plotting his next attack so?
When you consider how much better the league is now this is like KG 06 shit
Really hate this for Turner let me tell ya.
Back to the bottom bucks, pistons have risen
This is like KG’s last seasons on the Wolves.
Yeah I can see why the Pacers didn’t want Turner anymore
