[Highlight] Ayton posts 22 points on 7⁄9 shooting with 12 boards and 4 blocks vs NOP
The guy is in heaven playing with all these elite playmakers
Perfect situation and an encouraging coach and teammates along with playing for a bother big contract has made it so he’s been a very good center for us.
He no longer has to be one of the top three options that has to consistently generate scoring opportunities for himself.
He can feast off the great looks that Luka, Bron and Reaves generate as the 4th option.
He’s been great for the Lakers
We really have two of the most undervalued contracts in the league with Reaves and Ayton
Too bad our bench sucks because of overpaid Vando, Gabe, and Maxi
Yeah Vando has just not panned out
He’s been owning. Always been very efficient but lakers really did good getting him. Contract year so the motivation concerns I assume won’t apply lol. (How the hell did pelinka get him to land in his lap actually)
He shares the same agent as Luka
The next LuClutch?
I guess if no ones its willing to actually pay you a lot… living in LA its probably one of the best chances you have
If you had to make a team from every draft class since the start of the 2000’s, is there a better one than 2018?
starting 5: PG - Luka SG - Shai SF - Mikal Bridges PF - Jaren Jackson Jr. C - Ayton
Backups: Guards - Young, Brunson, Simons, Sexton Forwards - MPJ, Evil Bridges, Timelord Centers - Wendell Carter Jr, Mitchell Robinson
Just seems like a crazy team lol
??? 2003?
2003 undoubtedly has the better starters, but they don’t really have the same kind of depth. I’m not mad if you want to give them the nod though instead
Feels weird to think about it… but maybe he is reaching the expectation that was put on him when was picked #1
The most impressive thing about DA is that he actually wants to play now. He was hurt yesterday and limped off but has just been deemed healthy to play again today. Buy in and effort have always been his biggest flaws.
He checked out pretty bad for blazers, wasn’t putting in this effort. For blazers he has had both zero rebound and zero point games I believe.
Even when playing well the play style is maddening. 7 foot freak athlete but can’t create anything more than a turn around fade.
He will never play with force. Yes, he will always catch the ball under the hoop and then dribble away from it and turn around for the jump hook or fadeaway. But, he’s pretty good at making those efficiently.
On this contract, he’s a good value
Completely agree. He’s playing well and is a huge help for the Lakers but is still a huge waste of potential
Yay more lakers highlights
I would usually agree, but like they’re damn near the second best team in the league. If theres any time where lakers fans are justified in the amount of laker posts in the NBA sub, it’s now😂
Don’t even know why you’re getting downvoted because that’s literally this entire sub 😂😂
Must be the bandwagon Lakers fans lol
They can downvote me all they want but I’m sick of seeing the same damn players every day or Austin Reaves glazing lmao
Nah facts man
Like I get AR is having a great season but do we genuinely need to see every layup that turns into an and-1 or simple mid rangers
And like I know Luka is generational but we genuinely don’t need to see every time he passes the ball lol
Knicks fan 🤝 Heat fan
Annoyed with the constant lakers posts
