OKC 3.3 above Houston but in the same tier. Pistons only .9 above the tier below them. Cleveland only 1 below the tier above them.

It should prob be

OKC, then HOU, then DEN, then NYK+DET, then the rest.

I wouldn’t say the same, but they’re right up there. I’d say both the Rockets and the Nuggets have legit chances to win it all. Like most years it will come down to injury luck. That’s where the Thunder are better equipped to absorb injuries like they’ve already shown to start the season. That’s a major reason they have to be considered the favorite.

Rockets are a 2b to the Nugs 2a but they are far closer to the Nuggs than to the Lakers or anyone else in the west.

I know they have KD now, but last years playoffs made me a firm non believer in that team.

none of them are as individually good as jdub but that is quite a bit of depth out

if anything houston should have its own tier between okc and denver

and now that Dub is back we’re missing Hart, will be a while before we get to see the fully healthy squad. Can’t wait

We’re elite offensively, defensively far from elite. However out of all the teams we have the most potential to improve with just a few additions. Just like in the ²³⁄₂₄ season, Mavs were like 26-23 before Gafford and P.J trade. They added two, two way talents and propelled the team. Lakers have a lot of junk players add 2-3 two way talents and they’re probably as good as OKC.

People are down-voting you because that sounds like cope, but you are absolutely correct. The way the games have been going is the Lakers take it easy in the first half, they stay about even with the other team, then start to heat up in the 3rd quarter and take off in the 4th. Or Luka torches the other team in the first quarter, then they take it easy until the lead gets cut down, then they lock in. Idk why the Lakers play like that, maybe it’s a way of conserving the team’s energy until it is needed, but that is why our net rating is so ass compared to our standing.

Their Net Rating is not good. The record is better than their Net Rating would suggest. Same situation as last year. Obviously they’ve been down Lebron but I doubt he’s gonna improve their defense enough. Unless they can make some changes I’m willing to bet this year will end similar to last.
