Yeah it’s the play when Divincenzo kinda tackled him and it became a jump ball when he clearly fouled Derrick first
Avoids the fine for criticizing the refs for the plausible deniability that he temporarily disassociated
He usually just avoids the fine by asking Adam Silver if he enjoys being alive.

Every presser. Even when he’s given a simple question his facial expressions are hilarious. It’s like he’s annoyed he has to answer anything but questions about hand to hand combat.

That answer about fun is funny and all but honestly as a coach right now it was extremely applicable. I shared it with my team bc after a bad loss the day before they were having trouble getting focused for the next game and said they just want to “have fun” but couldn’t define what that was.

Joe used to love going at Gary Washburn to the point of turning every presser into a Nathan Fielder bit. He obviously pivoted to pantsing Bobby Manning on the regular while recently adding some unnecessary shots at Jack Simone (and his haircut). You watch him enough and you know what kind of answer you’re going to get based on who asked it.
(before anyone asks, the only reporter he’s overly nice to is Noa Dalzell, but tbh I think she asks really great X’s and O’s-based questions)

We do have the worst FT differential of any team in the past 25 years (as far back as ESPN’s stats go).
We’re hovering in the -8 to -9 range and generally the worst team in the league sits around -4 to -5.
We are short staffed and inexperienced this year, we’re missing Tatum’s whistle and we’ve got young guys fouling.
But that still doesn’t explain this extreme level of disparity that we’re seeing. Nor does it explain Brown getting roughly Curry’s whistle (and Curry is famously short changed).
We went through a similar thing 2 years ago, where we had an unreal amount of technical fouls to start the year out.
Porzingis had his season average by game 7, despite looking happier than he ever had in his career. Tatum and Brown were ahead of guys like Draymond. If the trend had continued we would have had multiple guys getting suspended before all-star break.
The refs just like to put the clamps on us, until it becomes a big national talking point and they’re forced to ease up.
As a bucks fan thinking we are getting the worst of the refs, we are sitting at a differential of -7.6 attempts which I thought was nuts, but you guys are -8.8 which is absurd. The refs need to get better, I don’t know how it can be so consistently bad for our teams when the refs change every game.
The wizards are at -6.1 but besides them no other team is past -3.1 which is just nuts.

It’s so ridiculous, jaylen gets tackled no foul, players hang from giannis neck when he goes up and its no foul, and then shai makes the slightest of contact when going to the rim, flops, and gets the foul. Giannis will never flop, so I guess refs think if he doesn’t fall it’s not a foul? Who knows at this point.
