It’s funny how its different for some players. SGA occasionally has like 10 in the first half from what I have seen, could really struggle badly in some games at the start, and then he gets 15 in the 3rd and like 5-10 in the 4th. Sengun is a little bit like that as in he struggles the 1Q every game but then clutch af in the 4th and sometimes the 3rd. On the other hand you got guys like Luka who could score 20 in the 1q and like 35 in the 1st half and still end the game with like only 40-45

It’s the advantage of being a guard (or really, being a player with elite movement ability). There’s zero contingencies needed or ways to stop you getting to where you want to go. The reason why MJ felt so inevitable in the 90s (and illegal defense rules) was because he was a better mover than anyone he played and he could get where he wanted at any time.
